Fixed in 1.4.0

• Fixed logic behind testing if the USPS module should be enabled for a group [#69]
• Fixed logic on the same for the shipping estimator
• Removed extra comma from old-style language file.
• Changed the function being used to display the version to a read-only function instead of a radio select. (This only affected encapsulated installs.)

This zip file includes both the Encapsulated and Non-Encapsulated forms of the module. Please read the directions in the included README.html or README.md to see how to install it and which versions of ZenCart are compatible with each version.

Note: If you used a 0.0.0 version, you have to fully uninstall that version before bringing in the new version.

Version has been submitted to ZenCart, and fully released in repository.

I can indeed duplicate this, on the reverse (I have it set to true, but cannot turn it off), but I'm not seeing anything that I changed that would disable the ability to change values.

For right now, use this in the Install SQL Patches section of the admin to enable the module again:

UPDATE configuration SET configuration_value = 'True' WHERE configuration_key = 'MODULE_SHIPPING_USPSR_STATUS';

Can you try removing the module (not the entire plugin) but just the module from the shipping module. And reinstall?

yes that does work, so a uninstall reinstall corrects the issue.

I have no idea why that is. I'll look into it. But at least it is working now.

Sorry took few days more to be able to run this test on 1.55f + php 7.1 .
I grabbed V1.41 off of git and I was able to install on my dev server, installed it over the previous 1.3x version, and activated both domestic and international shipping.
Looks like everything seems to be in working order, I was able to checkout step 2 for payment.
No issues with toggling from false to true on the module as mentioned earlier.

So at this point, should I switch over to this module in production?

At this point yes. 1.4.0 and 1.4.1 are safe. 1.4.1 was made to fix a problem with the encapsulated installer. Otherwise they are both the same.
