Re: Chemo's Ultimate URL's

It worked wonders with 1.3.7.1

I have no problems - but I have not yet installed the extras in the .htaccess.

What exactly is the error and what php/MySQL are you running

Re: Chemo's Ultimate URL's

I'd like to suggest moving the development of this module on to a system like sourceforge.

At least there we can have more than one admin so if one decides to leave then the whole community are not left struggling with how to continue the project.

I mean sourceforge is not perfect but at least :- its easy to access for everyone.

  • it has a rudimentary forum (though personally its not to my taste at all).
  • Its free!!I'd be happy to help set it up or some other solution what allows the community to access the project files and documentation.

Comments anyone?

I think that sounds like a very good idea.

Im using php 4 and I have followed all the instructions.. But when I refresh the page it goes 404 in the center area.
I'm kinda stumped really. Would it be my host? Im with the big GDaddy.

Thanks for your reply.

Re: Chemo's Ultimate URL's

Byt the way.
here is my .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /

Seo Urls version 3.x

Don't rewrite real files or directories

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.+)$ index.php?seo_url=$1&%{QUERY_STRING} [L]

I didnt have a .htaccess file so i created a new one and added that code.

Am I missing something here?

Yup you are.
Look inside the pdf, called guide.pdf, thats included and you will find a full breakdown of the possible contents for the .htaccess file.

refer to that :)

Re: Chemo's Ultimate URL's

Hi Dreamscape,
Had this :
Fatal error: Class coreadvancedsearchresultseourlplugin: Cannot inherit from undefined class coreadvancedsearchseourlplugin in /home/sites/domain.co.uk/public_html/includes/classes/seo/seo.url_plugins/core/advanced_search_result.php on line 14

Tried to reach your fix as above, but could not reach it, it said a log in is required. Could I have a copy of the fix please?
Having the same problem referred to in this post. I tried to access the fix at the mentioned site. I created a new account, however I have yet to receive the verification e-mail. It's been several hours, is the fix located anywhere else?

Re: Chemo's Ultimate URL's

Hi,

I just installed the latest beta on 1.3.7 of Zencart. When I go into the admin>configure>seo Urls 3.0.0-beta1 and I see all the options, but there is no place to edit the choices. The screen ends with the "Action" column.

Any advice?

Michael

Re: Chemo's Ultimate URL's

Hi, I have a fresh install of 1.3.7 and I wanted to know does this work with it, the dreamscape page only mentions up to 1.2, if not is there another similar addon?

Re: Chemo's Ultimate URL's

Should I be using the Beta or the current, it looks like the current supports 1.3.7 so unless there is a very complelling reason to use the Beta I will use it.

Re: Chemo's Ultimate URL's

I used the current one too, although it says beta in the Admin pages(and they both are the same size and date). Any ideas on the error messages?

Nope, sorry. Mine loaded OK but in the admin it wouldn't let me change any of the default settings. Its the current version of the 3 Beta. not an actual release
