i had the same problem,, and also i wasn't able to view the cart which was OMG.

its all in the .htaccess file

and in fact, i hope its not like me, but there should be another problem with the PHP that creats this,,, for me the SEO never worked

always getting te page not found page even when i enter the home page...
i worked so much on htaccess and php even i found some missed parts in the php but it didn't fix it...

and still i can't work on it....

i want to ask one thing is that for the guys that worked well with them,,,

in their configuration.php file, your data type is Database or file?

thats the only difference i found between me and other guys that worked with them....

Also, since I have implemented SEO URLs, my Google Analytics data has stopped coming in. I ready in the Analytics FAQ that redirects can cause data to not be gathered correctly. Do you think that might be what's happening to me?

I found it at http://www.smarterwebdev.com/pub/zencart/seo_urls/seo_urls_current.zip but I've had to go back to version 2 because I cannot get 3 to work. I would recommended testing it out on a site you don't need to be up and running or one that you don't have to worry about Google ranking and see if you can get it working there first. It looks like an easy install but I cannot figure out for the life of me what I am missing. Amy

I just finished reading all of this unhumanly large thread.First i want to congratulate
Dreamscape on all the good work he has done.I am using SEO URLs 3.00beta without any issues so far on my test server and even though its not a production release i am going to install it on my live shop soon.
At some points in this thread i found the following question :
"How to replace the "+" marking 'space' with a "-" in urls"
Example:"http://somehost.com/big+red+apples-c-1" to
"http://somehost.com/big-red-apples-c-1"
To do this you should enable "Format: Strip Invalid" in "Character Plugins".
View the /includes/classes/seo/seo.char_plugins/core/format/invalid.php
to find out which chars are removed and which are replaced with "-"

Did you install both patched for the AdvancedSearch? There are bug fixes for AdvancedSearch.

It depends on which one you download. There is one in this thread about mid-way or so that already includes all the patches except for the Paypal Express problem. Unfortunately, I do not have a link to it in my favorite.

i worked so much on the SEO but its not working at all,, always getting the page not found page, but no one told me that there are patches.

i downloaded the 3.0.0 beta1 from the link it was provided from amy.

but if you or anyone can remember a work to search for or give a link for the patches i will be pleased to have them, because i spent so long on this one and its never worked

everyone told me that its because of the htaccess file but i worked on it so much and it never changed the result!

Although both version 2.105 and 3.0 beta work just fine with zcv1.3.7.1, you probably want to install version 3.0 as it contains fixes for some major bugs in version 2.105.

I notice that the download here dated 21-Jun-07:

So I'm assuming that all the previous bugs have been fixed and applied.
On http://bugs.smarterwebdev.com/index.php I found 1 bug on May, and the rest are fixed after 21-Jun-07, so I just need to apply those patches.

It's really weird to me, because usually as a developer I always make sure my current release contains all the patches and fixes, so that users should not have to look all over for all the (hidden) patches he/she needs.
