Better Categories Contrib & ezpages

After changing the default pointer image to the transparent image in the categories sidebox, a dot (.) appears in front of each category when it is under the rollover.
Does anyone know how to remove this dot?

It was meant to be a 1 x 1 transparent image
It is actually a 1 x 1 white image instead (my error)

Create a 1 x 1 transparent image yourself and replace the existing image with your new image.

On most backgrounds it doesn't show and very few have noticed. So I haven't updated the mod with this one fixed image.

hey Gilby, I hope you're still floating about here somewhere. I'm a huge fan of BetterCategories and BetterCategoriesEZInfo. My hand is being forced and I'm having to update my cart due to a PHP software update. As you can see in my sig, I've had my cart running on a very old version of ZC and with the update, and knowing next to nothing about code, I was wondering if BetterCategoriesEZInfo is compatible with PHP5.3 and the newer versions of Zencart. TIA for anyone who can shed light.

that is excellent news indeed :) based on the name, is this both better categories and bettercategories EZ info? I can't tell (and I can't find any stand alone version of bettercategories).

The mod includes files for several sideboxes, but if you don't want it affecting any particular sidebox, just leave out the file related to that sidebox.

Admin -> Configuration -> My Store -> Show Category Counts - set to false

The new template I'm modifying doesn't allow for breadcrumbs (yes, I do have them turned on; I verified it with the template creators). I'd like to add a permanent link to the Index page at the top of my betterCategories category listing. How can I do that? (Please type slowly...I'm a php moron. LOL) Thanks!
