Info/Orders at a Glance Admin Contribution for 1.2.7 and 1.3.0.

Well we started to use attributes too, so I have the same need, your code is very close to being correct!
I will try my very bestest to upload the new version today that supports attributes and also strips out the apostrophe.

look under the USPS Autofill contrib thread, youll find he has a file set with both this and the USPS autofill button for super orders 2.0. He also has the instructions for including it yourself, its approved by blindside too! hehe

also, is there any chance you guys could include the model number in the "bubble"? this makes it alot easyer for me, since our whole office goes by that number.

in super_orders.php, find the following line:-

Sorry to leapfrog the previous quesiton, but I'm curious if anyone has tested this against version 1.3.5. This is the mod I've been hoping for and I'll be bummed if its not compatible with my site.

Sorry for my hasty post. I successfully installed this on my 1.3.5 cart and it works beautifully. Very well done, and great instructions! Thank you for the mod.

As a followup to this mod, does anyone know how to add lines to the "new orders" area on the Admin index page? I'd love to eventually see a scrollable iframe with the past 100 orders there, but its probably overkill. I really just want the last 10 orders up if possible.

Some clues:

1. As you stated the list shows on the admin index page. So the file to investigate first would be /your_shop/admin/index.php

2. The define that displays "New Orders:" above the list is BOX_ENTRY_NEW_ORDERS (found by searching on "New Orders:" via Admin > Tools> Developers Toolkit

3. The number of new orders shown in the list by default is 5.

With the info above you should be able to easily find the hard coded value in index.php, and then change that number to 10 or whatever you like.

Note the admin is scheduled to be "rewritten" in the future (but likely not very soon). You might want to post your suggestions to the wish list board.

Ya, at this point the admin area is very basic and hardcoded, with very little configuration in the normal admin->menu way.

I'm not sure if anyone ever figured out how to fix the problem with info-at-a-glance not displaying products with ' (apostrophe's) in them, so I went ahead and did it. It is quite simple:

in both admin/index.php & admin/orders.php

FIND:

onmouseover="return overlib(\\\'' . $cleanComment . '\\\');"

replace with:

onmouseover="return overlib(\\\'' . addslashes(addslashes($cleanComment)) . '\\\');"

It need addslashes twice because it needs 3 slashes to escape the php and javascript levels

Cool. I can now integrate the mod admin functionality into my ZC 1.37 shop. The apostrophe issue was a stopper for me and I could not see the fix was additional validation within the onmouseover parameter (I'm worthless at javascript).

addslashes will fix all ' and ". I am still tryin to get the product with attribs to show up in the hover windows. I've learned a bit more php and I might take another stab at it and reupload it.

Displaying Attributes would be excellent. Look forward to it. If you need a tester let me know.

For those wondering if the latest version of this mod works on Zen Cart v.1.37, I just installed mod version v1.5 into ZC 1.37 and it works great.

Basic recommends:

1. Be sure to include qhome's simple onmouseover fix (announced a few posts above).

2. Do NOT copy /admin/index.php and /admin/orders.php file over your existing core file versions. The 1.5 mod utilizes core admin files from ZC v.1.3.0.1.

Instead "merge" in the very well documented snippets of code from the two mod version files into your two existing 1.3x files. It is very easy to do. If you are not sure PM me and I can send you a text file with the code snippets that need inserting into the two files above. (I just documented the code fragment edits and still need to format into a usable help file... warning there are no line numbers as my index.php and orders.php files are heavily customized).

Also if qhome uploads a mod update with attributes support then you might want to wait just a bit before downloading and installing (I suspect if he does upgrade this mod he will support only the latest version of Zen Cart).

And at the same time we should ask DrByte to change the name of this thread, and the mod download page name (that is, drop the version numbers at the end as they are quickly out-of-date and thus become confusing and are unneeded).

Looks to be an extra or missing quotation mark or apostrophe. Try it again and carefully watch what " or ' you are changing.
