Info/Orders at a Glance Admin Contribution for 1.2.7 and 1.3.0.

Many thanks for the reply - looks like the files that I have are corrupt in some way as after making that change i get the following error now

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '}' in /srv/www/htdocs/admin/orders.php on line 835

Any ideas? Does anyone have a set of files that work without any editing for v1.3.0.1 that they could forward me?

The latest version Kelvyn refers to is Woodys fixes in this thread I believe.
The latest version by me isnt uploaded yet.

Looking at your file I havent really got a clue which version of zen cart its from without checking but....

Is not after the < body> tag its a few lines high but that shouldnt affect anything.

I have corrected those typo error as per the last couple of replies. Things are starting to look better BUT i still have another error. :cry:

Now when the order option is used i get the following code:

added to the end of the order. After the last couple of posts I am sure that again this is a typo somewhere but I just cant seem to find it. I have attached the new version of my order.php file in zip format in the hope that you great people will help me once again.

My only hope is that one day I will also be able to help others in return :)

Hi I have just copied them across without editing and still the same errors as my last post - can some one who has this working please send me their orders.php to try?

Theres code there to have it in both, in the orders list on the index page and on the orders page.
V1.5 (theres no extra functionality just mistake correction) is now in the downloads to try and this file comes direct from my server where its working.

Ok I just downloaded your fine, ftpd it to my test site and it works fine.
I cant see the problem you mention, where do you see this code exactly?
I tried it with firefox and ie and couldnt see.:blink:

Did you upload the javascript file?

I have found out whats wrong :smartass:

It was to do with my product titles - a few of them were like this:

18-19" Casual Outfit

So the " was being read by the order.php incorrectly

Woody and someone else reported a bug with ` in the title and I looked into it briefly (but admittedly not an awful lot as I havent had the time) but couldnt find out how to fix it.:sleepy:

Regards to the infamous apostrophe. DrByte reported that how current version of Zen Cart responds to apostrophes may be related to an update to a string sanitizing security function. The issue is impacting other mods and the Zen Cart search mechanism. Possibly this has been repaired in the next Zen Cart release. But it is supposedly possible to override the function now.

Funny one.. I got this working fine.. accept as I go back through my orders.. occassionally one shows up without the info image.. so I can't hover it to see what they ordered. Then I got another one yesterday. Different products each time.. nothing funny with apostrophes or quotes. Very random.

seems the search with quotation marks is fixed that works fine in 1.3.0.2 but this mod still has the the same problem with quotation marks ');" onmouseout="return nd();">, shame it's a great mod

AFAIK 1.3.0.2 doesnt fix the quotation mark problem, thats in a future release?

I also upgraded to 1.3.0.2 and it doesn't fix the " problem.

Great effort,though, thanks for this. We only have a few products that use " for size in inches in the name.

oh well it's not that bad either use the word inch or convert them to metric and use cm instead

Yes, the problem with ` or " is not to do with this contribution its to do with other functions in zen cart.

Reesy - Fantastic contrib :) I'm glad I saw there was an updated version. I originally had v 1.2 or v 1.3 installed and didn't realize it wasn't functioning with zen 1.3.0.1/2 Installed v 1.5 and all is well :D
