Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

bmz_cache is where your resized pictures are. the large version of pictures do not appear in here because there is no resizing needed for them

I just tried uploading my own 3 images, and I cleared the bmz_cache, and the system still showing the cache ones.... :( (even when I uploaded the images it said the cache was cleared)...

Just installed IH2 for 1.3.5...
All seems to work fine, however the + overlay does not seem to show upon the images....can anyone help ?

Did you set it on the admin panel?
Configuration > Images > IH zoom small/medium images

It creates them for you.. if you already have them it uses them :). I personally only have Large images on my site so it created them for me. I believe if you already have _MED images it will use that and resize to small, but I'm not 100% sure on this. I know for a fact that if you have _LRG images, it will resize them

Each time you visit a page, the file is written into the cache.. so if you clear it in the admin then view a page (or refresh it).. itll write it right back into the bmz_cache folder

Hi, hope I'm posting in the right thread...

Just installed ImageHandler 2. Everything seems OK except this:

When I go to IH2's Admin page, and select the Preview tab, the images don't load. Checking the links, they are being searched for at an incorrect URL:

http://ediehats.com/zencart/zencart/admin/images/ih-test.png

I've actually got slightly diff. names for the zencart and admin directories, but this is the structure of the (incorrectly formed) URL.

Any ideas why this is happening? The images are definitely in the right place, but it's adding an extra "zencart/" to the URL.

It’s the “+” image that is usually on the bottom right corner not appearing.

I switched the template to another one the last night and it works fine. I believe it is the template itself that is making it pop up in the top left of the page. Im going to just start a new template from scratch and see how that goes. Thanks again for all your help with this issue!

Just to pick your brains a little more...

Is there a way to include the price of the item in the hover image?

Did you include all the files that were in the templatecustom folder in the other template folder? example

it works on the REGULAR template, but it won't work with your REGULAR2 template. You need to copy the files that were in the "templatecustom" folder located in "includes/templates/templatecustom" into your REGULAR2 folder or else it won't do it correctly

I believe that was the issue. I instead just went and started from scratch. It really was no big deal! By the way, this module is AWESOME! I can't wait to see more updates come from this!

GetYourGamesHere, is there a way to show the product price within the image hover? I am trying to make a product display to where it only shows the images of the jewelry, but when you run the mouse over it, it brings up a larger image with the price/description of the product along with that image. I guess my other alternative would to just photoshop the price with the image, but if there is a way it can run off the database that would be awesome! Again, thanks for the help!

I downloaded the latest version of Image Handler and I am still getting a javascript error when I enable small image zoom.

I just installed IH2 into a brand new Zen_Cart installation. I had ceated a few products pages that worked fine. I needed to add more than 1 picture to some items so I went with IH2.

Once I did this I lost the picture on the items page. When I click on the catogory the pictures show up, but when I click on a specific item the picture is not there anymore. Also if I click 'Vie Larger Image' it does not show the picture just a box this the the item name in it.

I have been looking through this thread but as it is quite large I though I would ask and see if anyone can help while I still am searching.

Could you please post the exact lines where the errors are, so that I can take a look at it? If you're using IE6, there should be a small alert box in the bottom left corner.. just double click it and copy/paste the message it gives you
