Time Zone Offset (for v1.3.0-thru-v1.3.9d ONLY)

Thanks for your Time Zone Offset Mod, it's really helpfull :)

I have one question and was wondering if you can help me.

I have installed this mod on 1.3.9, everything works fine, the only problem is I replaced the includes/classes/order.php with your one, the only problem it's meant for 1.3.8.

I try to compare your file with the original to merge them, but winmerge is telling the whole files needs to be mergerd!!
I am getting a headache trying to figure it out :frusty:

Can you please tell me what coding and on which line I need to add to my fresh 1.3.9 order.php file?

Having problems getting this to work entirely.

All seems fine except when I update an order it puts the server time in instead of my time :(

When purchases are made the time is updated correctly.

I am using super orders but it doesn't work if I update the status on standard orders either.

I presume there is something in the script for super_orders.php which I haven't added can someone confirm where all the super_orders edits need to go and I can check they are there?

(Or any other possible solutions would also make me happy :P)

The bit of code that needed changing from

now()
``` to ```php
date_add(now(), INTERVAL " . TIME_ZONE_OFFSET . " HOUR)
``` was in admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/super_orders_functions.phpfor any one else that is looking for it!

All I see in my order history in admin is this time - date_add(now(), INTERVAL " . TIME_ZONE_OFFSET . " HOUR)
Any clue on whats going on wrong? I separately ran the query in the php file and it seems to be returning the correct time

Maybe try this instead for that line```php

I have uploaded the files twice to no avail, I ended up replacing the order.php file with stock 1.3.9f one which fixed the problem but obviously the timezones thing no longer works.

I haven't updated this mod for 1.3.9e or 1.3.9f yet
A quick look shows that that file has not altered between the d, e &f version so that file should work.
Some of the other files have altered and need to be merged.

I am working on a replacement much simpler mod for this purpose.
I will be away for 2 weeks.
When I am back I would like a few people to test this new mod on different versions of php & mysql

Modifies only one core file.
Fixes all known time zone problems storewide.

I am running a german / english zen cart 1.3.8a and would like to utilize time zone offset. I have downloaded the time zone offset version 1.3.8a and have merged the 7 files to be overwritten with the files from my shop.

Before I upload the merged files and explode my shop, would someone advise me not to do this? Are there known problems with doing this or with 1.3.8a in general?

Of course everthing will be backed up, but the shop is live and I cannot test all funtions for bugs within a short period of time, therefore I thought I would ask first if this is just a plain old bad idea.:shocking:

This mod will not be updated further than Zen-Cart v1.3.9d

Please use the new replacement mod instead Time Zone Fix.

The new mod is:
Much simpler and overwrites only 1 core file.
When working it fixes all known Time Zone problems

There is a new Support Thread for this new mod.

There is no need to update the existing Time Zone Offset mod if it is working fine for you.

You should use the new Time Zone Fix mod.
If updating to a new version of Zen-Cart.
And for all new Zen-Cart installs.
