1.3.01 to 1.3.02 upgrade emergency

When your SEFU add-on is NOT running ... your site works for secure

When your SEFU add-on IS running ... your site is broken for secure

Hence, SEFU add-on breaks secure site ...

Ah... you are RIGHT! I just turned it back on and checked. That was NOT the case prior to upgrade, as I have had the SEFU add-on since I installed the cart in June with 1.3.01.

I really like the SEFU addon. Any idea what can be causing that?
Thanks

Haven't a clue ... :cool:

SEFU things are add-ons ...

We do not have SEFU in Zen Cart at this time as it can cause all kinds of issues ... go figure? :blink:

You would need to look around the forum for those who like these add-ons and find out what the problem is ...

Many needed fixing and updating with Zen Cart v1.3.x ...

I've turned it off. That's a bummer. I truly believe that's how my pages started getting indexed so fast. No telling what will happen now.

Can you tell me how (and if it is advisable) to revert to database storage instead of file for sessions?

Edit the two configure.php files ...

Storing sessions in the database is the preferable method ...

Re: 1.3.01 to 1.3.02 upgrade emergency

Maybe I'm already on database storage after all??? Here is what both my configs say:

define('SQL_CACHE_METHOD', 'database');
define('DIR_FS_SQL_CACHE', /xxxx/xxxx/xxxx//photoimprints.com/httpdocs/cache');

xxx's for security

define('DIR_FS_SQL_CACHE', /xxxx/xxxx/xxxx//photoimprints.com/httpdocs/cache');

Do you really have double // in that setting?

Check your configure.php files ...
