How do EZ-Pages work?
You should then start by selecting "sidebox" and not footer for your easy pages
layout box controller and enable the sidebox

Thanks. But why is the side box option used for the footer?

These have all been toggled and orders entered and removed in the past.

header
Status - disabled

sidebox
Status - enabled, sort order 25

footer
Status - enabled, order 30
kobra:
TOC
Status - enabled, Chapter 1, TOC 10
Configuration>EZ-Pages Settings
Display status of footerbar and sidebox both 1 = on
The footer display is my first prize position. Is there a way to incorporate the pricing and custom products links into the shop column?

I will use the header bar in the interim.
Maybe Anne of Picaflor-Azul has a patch to incorporate EZ-Pages links into their template

No patch is needed. If you want ezpages in the header besides in the drop down menu (depending on the template used) just turn them on in zen cart admin--configuration--ez pages
Thanks,
Anne

Parafanaylya:
The template by Picaflor-Azul is slick and clean. The EZ-Pages nav bar looks as if somebody pasted onto the page. It does not look cool.
I want to place the links in the footer only. The bar that appears with the header slices the template in 2, and the footer links are ugly.
Any chances?

You can add links to anything (including ez pages) using the flexible footer menu. See the readme file for the plugin for more information.

Thanks Anne. I have finally understood what to do. The problem with EZ-Pages is the smoke screens many of us make for ourselves. That was soon simple

I have some ez-pages from a website backup that I want to copy to my work shop. I have been using Developers Tool Kit to find where the ez-pages are put, but cannot find them.

That is due to their contents not being file based - it is stored in the database

Hi there, I received this error message when I tried to create new item "How to buy" on the menu bar:
Error Error: you have defined multiple settings when only one may be defined per Link ...
Only define either: HTML Content -or- Internal Link URL -or- External Link URL
I had followed the steps given in this link https://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?232 but after I got the above error message after adding in the internal link like this index.php?main_page=how_to_buy
What could I have done wrong? May someone please advise me,thank you
My version of Zen Cart is 1.54

Hi AbbyTan,
You probably have added content into the HTML Content area of the ez-page you are trying to create. If you are creating an ez-page as an Internal Link URL or External Link URL, leave the HTML Content area empty!
