country dropdown not working

You are right and I didn't have the language pack updated for 1.3.5. Now I have but that didn't help either for this problem. I also didn't see any differences in account related or addressbook related files in there.

I also made a fresh install to compare if that would work and it seems it does work with a fresh install indeed but I should get this upgraded one to work. Otherwise it has all ok, only this "Select country" when creating account is stopping all business.

it seems I had the previous upload of templates not somehow correct since I uploaded now the templates again from templates (under template_default) to my own template folder and I didn't change anything in them since I haven't made any customization in my own template for them previously. Now the country selection seems working both in Create Account and in Addressbook as well. :)

According to my tests the admin language files didn't affect on this but it is good to update them as well since there are some extra new lines for example in Zones and in Editor related files...
