I have found that IH2 and lightbox is not workable on my new sites using 1.3.8a and 5.2+ PHP. Probably something in the lightbox code.

I have taken most of them to Fual slimbox or disabled lightbox altogether.

Hi Countrycharm and dbltoe. I was able to get fual slimbox to work. :clap: The effect works perfectly. I had to place each file into their respective folders. The only sub-directories was in my custom template images and jscript folder. I think what made the difference was removing the additional_images.php file from the modules folder, then uploading the slimbox additional_images.php to the modules folder. Same method for the tpl_modules_main_product_image.php from the templates folder within my custom template folder. When I did this it worked. When I was overwriting the files, for some reason it didn't work. Anyways, persistance pays off.

Does zen_lightbox need to be installed to get the prices of the products to display in the the lightbox?

ok so i have http://dacapotees.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=3

and you can see its just something called sample image well the file is called ssampleimage and then i have the same name with a _1 at the end for the second image they are both in the root directory of the images folder. after i installed zen lilightbox it stopped displaying under the sampleimage one the products page it is a different image it has a light blue background it also doesn't show up with prev next buttons. is there somewhere else i need to put the images?

ok i dont get it does zenlightbox support multi images? i have no other image mods installed i have in my main image directory sampleproductimage.jpg and sample productimage_01.jpg then in my large folder i have sampleproductimage_LRG.jpg and sampleproductimage_LRG_01.jpg and no luck, am i doing something wrong here please help.

Quick question... where is the CSS file for this? Somehow the "close" button when the light box is not visible because the font is white. I need to change this asap, thanks..

Should be in the css folder inside your templates override folder.

Have installed lightbox (pre latest release) and image handler latest version for cart 1.3.8 and it all seemed to work, other than the lightbox not working on additioanl images, on investigating this I noted there was a newer release of lightbox so downloaded and installed it, now my additional images simply do not display. They are visible in admin but no longer anywhere to be found on the main shopping cart.

Anyone know why this would be?

ok, I managed to get it back to the main image using lighbox but the additional images are still using popup.

Now, if I replace the additional images file with the one from the new lightbox I lose the additional images, so whats going on

Everything is new release, Zencart 1.3.8, IH latest release and LB 1.4

I just dont get it.

The additional images all have exactly the same name with _01 and _02 at the end so I figure that part is right?

Fual Slimbox does work better with PHP 5+ but, you need to remove the lightbox. I can't imagine that they will play good together.:no:

hmm, well they seem to work well have a look. You need to click on wrists as its the only one with test products in, clicking on the main image brings the lightbox into play with next and previous (which I hguess is slimbox

to be honest I probably have slimbox installed over the top of lightbox by now, upped and downned so many files during today to get it working.

Just make sure that your includes/templates/CUSTOM/templates/tpl_modules_main_product_image.php is the one for FUAL and the lightbox scripts are gone from includes/templates/CUSTOM/jscript folder.

lol, that would explain alot. I had both lightbox and slimbox in the configuration menu, slim was on, turn light box on and the top image vanishes, leaving the additional ones without any effect, lol.

Removed all db entries for lightbox, and as you suggested deleted the lighbox scripts, and now it works the way it should have the first time round, man I really should read things before just installing them.

ok, well now its working without a hicth, I have a hitch.... :blink:

Both IE 7 and FF are telling me the following (this is on load of the page not on click to largen the image)

This is obviousley something to do with the mootools, I say obvious but maybe not.

You have some bad code inside the productMaindImage script. Can't do a document.write with </a>:no: Gotta be <\ /a>
NOTE: I put a space between the two slashes just to keep them from looking like a capital V.

Change all the </ to </ and you may find the error goes away.

ADDED: it's in additionalImages as well

This is what the additional_images has in it.

But this is the default file included with slimbox so why should it be wrong, come to think of it the only additonls I have made are related to stylesheets and adding classes, but not to this or any lighbox/ slimbox file???
