Listen I think ( I am not a designer nor a programmer) you have an issue as stated before with additional_pictures.php
The same issue I had before. Is just one file is messing up.
back up and try to upload that file. The patch is the one I pointed out before in this thread. Like I said as soon I 'd overwritten this file all additional images popped up like pop corn :yes:

Thanks so much! Unfortunately, I've tried that file and I've tried all of the additional_images.php fixes that I've seen so far (on the default Zen file, the file that comes with the mod and the patched file). Nothing has seemed to help. =(

I just downloaded zen light box and all seems well.
I found it in admin/configuration but the images load just like they used to. Do I have to do something else to make it work?

just an idea, did you also uploaded the **images **and **jscript **folders from template_default to YOUR_TEMPLATE?

Thank you for pointing that out to me.

I only changed the name of the includes\modules\YOUR-TEMPLATE-FOLDER and not the includes\templates\YOUR-TEMPLATE-FOLDER and it works fine now.

hi there im a complete newbie using zencart, i just installed this addon which is excellent but i have a problem

i have added additional pics in the format like this
abc.jpg
abc_01.jpg
abc_01.jpg
....
....

now when i clicked the main pic it display in lightbox no problem, it shows that its the 1 of 7 pics, and all next, close, etc buttons, but when i click next to view the 2nd pic, it shows the loading icon but doesnt go to the 2nd pic at all. if i click direct on the additional pic instead of the main one, lightbox comes up but doesnt show pic at all. what have i done wrong or need doing? i have rename template name and followed the instruction already, thanks very much for your help

I had to put the additional pictures in the main picture directory and the large picture directory for lightbox to work on my additional pictures.

I am having some problems with Zen Lightbox. If there is no image file found to display the lightbox appears and the little rotating orb thing in the middle of screen just sits there and rotates. The customer might not know that you have to click the orb to close the window.

Also I have to temporarily uninstall the mod but I do not know how to change the SQL code back to its original state. Any help would be appreciated.

as a complete newbie i managed to do it last night after an hr of investigation!! :lamo:

main pic and additional pics all need to be in main image directory, then copy those additional pics to the "large" directory again. so there will be a lot of duplicated image files. i resized those additional pics to a much small size in the main image directory to save some host space. then turn the lightbox on again, it is working now. :clap:

the reason i resizing the pics is because all my product pics are large. if main pics are in sub-dir under "images" dir then u need to create the same sub-dir under "large" dir.

Before you go to all the trouble of modifying images, checkout the Image Handler Mod.
Make sure you backup EVERYTHING between installations of ANY mod(s). Better safe than sorry.:yes:

I've got lightbox and imagehandler2 installed and I'm trying to make some changes that will allow me to have two different links under the main picture, each link would load a different size of popup.

So clicking the pic or 'larger image' would popup at say 500x500 and clicking 'supersize' would cause the popup to activate at say 1000x1000.

I had hoped that changing the values of large image height/width in tpl_modules_main_product_image:

would have done the trick but no luck, does anyone have any suggestions.

I do and I had problems with it also...it is working now and I believe that the only thing that fixed it was the re-naming of the files...check out this thread to see if anything might help you.

Image Handler automatically renames them, is there a problem with that?

I ask this question back in December, but didn't get an answer. Does any body know why. I have un-stalled and re-installed a few times still the same thing.

This is my issue and it may have been covered. I installed zen lightbox but when you go to zen lightbox configuration there is nothing there. It seems to be working ok, Could you please tell me what I did wrong for there not to be any controls there to set.. Thank you

Did you install version 1.4?
Did you install the sql code found in the install.txt file?

Yes I did to both of your ?. I'm running zen 1.3.8a so I really don't know what going on. It's working fine, I was just wondering why it wasn't showing up in admin.

You might need to look at the database to see if the items in the install.txt were created in your database.

It's not working correctly on your Good Shepherd site. Don't know if you actually have more than one image of items but they show a next in the lightbox which, when clicked, just spins the "wait" image forever. It also has the standard annoying "wait till the screen fully loads before clicking the larger image" problem.

I could not find anywhere that lightbox is working on the art gallery although it is loading the stylesheet for slimbox which IS NOT and WILL NOT WORK WITH lightbox installed. Fual's Slimbox does have a method of removing lightbox before you load it. Having both on a site is :eek:

Thank you for your reply dbltoe. Yes I have Zen Lightbox installed on TheGoodShepherdStore web site, but not on the other one. I have slimbox cut off on the other site because I'm have problems with that one two in IE. Any way I will go to my data base and see what I can figure out there. I know there is an un-install txt for the data base. I will use that then go looking into my data base and see if it deleted all the info. I will get back to you on this if I can't find the solution.
