Re: Required attribute function works no longer

@grantc

wow - it works!

Once I was the initiator of this thread.

Now I have to thank you sooo much for your marvelous solution. It works now, as it was previously. Very good work, indeed.

Allready forgot about this problem in my shop and got and became accustomed.:smile:

thank you very much.

Re: Required attribute function works no longer

but i'm just wondered about all those commands in database without closure.

let me know if I need to worry about anything or if everything is in order.

Re: Required attribute function works no longer

Thank you so much grantc!

I too had this problem. Weirdly IH seemed to have uninstalled and my attributes were not behaving normally. I checked the database for the missing lines and indeed the upload and text lines had gone.

Pasted these lines into my database (filling in the id line to a number higher than the last entry in my configuration table) and bingo... everything returned to normal.

I wonder what causes the database to corrupt? I'm not using any of the google related addons that so many seem to suspect.

Thank you again grantc you saved me many hours by figuring this out!

Re: Required attribute function works no longer

grantc:

INSERT INTO configuration VALUES ('', 'Product option type Select', 'PRODUCTS_OPTIONS_TYPE_SELECT', '0', 'The number representing the Select type of product option.', 0, NULL, '2007-03-19 17:57:39', '2007-03-19 17:57:39', NULL, NULL);
INSERT INTO configuration VALUES ('', 'Upload prefix', 'UPLOAD_PREFIX', 'upload_', 'Prefix used to differentiate between upload options and other options', 0, NULL, '2007-03-19 17:57:39', '2007-03-19 17:57:39', NULL, NULL);
INSERT INTO configuration VALUES ('', 'Text prefix', 'TEXT_PREFIX', 'txt_', 'Prefix used to differentiate between text option values and other option values', 0, NULL, '2007-03-19 17:57:39', '2007-03-19 17:57:39', NULL, NULL);
INSERT INTO configuration VALUES ('', 'Image Handler Version', 'IH_VERSION', '2.0', 'This is used by image handler to check if the database is up to date with uploaded image handler files.', 0, 100, NULL, '2007-06-06 16:47:03', NULL, 'zen_cfg_textarea_small(');

This was indeed the perfect fix!
