Help with Email Address Exporter

DrByte:

If you're using v1.3.8, you'll see that option in the pulldown list

Somewhat related thread for manually extracting the data instead: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44417

Thanks DrByte, not sure what version I was using but I managed to work it out myself and added the string to the query builder :D

Re: Help with Email Address Exporter

Is there a PHP guru who could show me how to modify this mod so that unconfirmed newsletter subscribers are not exported?

The newsletter-only mod adds a column in the subscribers table called "confirmed" which has a "1" if the address is confirmed. If not confirmed there is a code. Subscribers older than the installation of "newsletters only" have a NULL.

So I need a test:

if confirmed = 1 or NULL export
else don't export

Re: Help with Email Address Exporter

It's not PHP, it's a MySQL query, embedded in the query_builder table in your database. Follow the link I posted in the previous thread for additional information.

Yes that works fine:

SELECT email_address
FROM subscribers
WHERE confirmed = 1
OR confirmed IS NULL

Thanks!

DrByte;
Could another query be created and placed into the db query builder table that will also look at any groups and select the members of those groups?

Cheers!

Re: Help with Email Address Exporter

Hi!

I'm having a recurrent problem with the email export module. It just hangs, and won't display anything after "Please choose the desired recipient list:". The recipient list never appears.

"Send Email to Customers" also hangs: that also has to pull up the same droplist of customer types (an audience function ... off the top of my head.)

The latest mod I added was fckeditor, but I don't know how that would conflict.

The email exporter and "send email to customers" are working in my sandbox store, but I only have a handful of registrants there, I have thousands in my main store. I have fckeditor installed there as well. I also verified that the email exporter and the audience function are identical files in both installations.

Do you have suggestions how to debug this?
