Admin login not working.

I just upgraded my test site from 1.3.7 to 1.3.7.1 yesterday. I could not log in to Admin since the upgrade. Thanks for your suggestion. I set the instance of recreate session to false. I was able to log in to my admin.

I then read other forums and decided to use different browser to test my luck.

With the instance sets to true I was able to log in with IE 6 but Firefox. With the instance sets to false I was able to log in with IE 6 and Firefox.

I would like to set this instance to true and have both IE6 and Firefox work. Do you have any solution?

Much of this is dependant upon your hosts configuration, there is little down side to having this set as false...as it is mostly a workaround that Zen Cart provides for these anomolies

Do you mean that I need to set the instance to true until the zencart experts find a solution to fix this?

This is also affecting my store front when I tried to log in. It was working fine few days ago. I added IH2 and SSL in the last few days.

The problem where Recreate Sessions set to true cannot be set is related to settings on your server by your hosting site ...

Speak to them to see what it is that they may need to reconfigure to fix this for you ...

Zen Cart can recreate the sessions fine ... but not if the server is not configured right to do this ...

I got it worked. I did two things and I don't know if I need to do both or either one.

1. clear dns cache (for window xp)
   a. go to start > run
   b. type: cmd [enter]
   c. at the prompt type: ipconfig /flushdns
   d. close the command prompt window.

2. clear all browser cookies

My recreate session is set to true now and I can log in to my admin! Shame on me! The two steps were listed in the email that my host sent to me when I got my SSL. I just completely forgot it until Kobra and Ajeh mentioned.
