Dynamic Price Updater

using: v1.3.9h

Just delete or rename the following files on your server.

\includes\classes\dynamic_price_updater.php

\includes\modules\pages\product_info\jscript_ajax_updater.php

I just renamed mine until the bug is fixed with it filling my log directory with errors as I mentioned in a previous post a few pages back.

What is the error you are getting are you sure it is caused by DPU? Because if DPU is disabled then it's not possible that DPU is causing the issue.

Works for me. Have you tried doing a CTRL F5 to reload your cache?

Tried on FF v10.0.2 and Chrome v17.0.963.83

Also if your fussy about cosmetics and having everything perfect like me :laugh:. You might want to move the ajax-loader.gif up a bit more so it can be seen properly. Or just remove it all together.

Also just out of curiosity is there any log files in your cache directory that have a sizing of 393?

Got it all working, client happy. Moved the whole site to their server. And now whenerver a dynamic price update would take place, I get a popup with "Status returned - not found".

Bit of digging in the debug console and it appears that a post is being made looking for dpu_ajax.php in the top level domain rather than in the root of the catalog.

Any ideas?

Same thing happened to me. Try installing dpu_ajax.php into that directory.

I got the same error message when I forgot the upload this file.

I need to organize the display of my product attributes pretty much the way it is on the page in your post above! I have searched for HOURS since I stumbled on your post while installing DPU and found nothing remotely similar. Is that your custom work? Part of a template? PLEASE advise...

I just upgraded (reinstalled fresh) to 1.5 today and re-installed DPUv2 and it is not working right, yesterday it was working fine with 1.39

:censored: Is it not compatible with 1.5???

I need some help. The ajax gif image is constantly running and DPS is not displaying price as it should. I also want to get rid of the popup window that says status returned.

Oh and why in the world they would remove UPS and USPS modules from core in 1.5 as standard is beyond me, just doesn't make any sense...

That is the reason why I have stayed on 1.3.9... I have not heard any word
if its compatible with 1.5.0

Is it possible to hide the base price until someone selects the attribute? If and only if there is a price by attribute? I had a full post here: http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.php?195280-Hide-prices-until-attribute-is-selected but I suspect that is was not answered because it was in the wrong area.

I mentioned this same error a few months ago. Dan said that he created a fix but has since lost the files and unfortunately I wasn't made aware of the fix files otherwise I would have a copy of them to share with you.

Hopefully he will be better soon and will be able to continue his work on this fantastic mod and these issues will be resolved.

I must say that I am very surprised at the small amount of people who seem to have this same issue. Or perhaps they are not checking their error logs so they are unaware of it?

Either way I hope Dan gets better soon and is able to remember what he did so this mod can be fixed.

Is it possible to modify DPU to work on the Product Listing page?

I’m using ZC 1.5 and DPU is working just fine on the product info page so GoldBuckle it does work, sorry can’t be much more help.

I have modified the product listing page in a couple of ways to get the kind of look/functionality I’m looking for . Basically there are two different module installation scenarios I’ve tried.

1. Options on Product Listing v2.0 MOD
2. column_layout_grid_v_1_3_8 MOD with flexible_product_listing_1_0_prelim ADDON and DD-FPL v1.1 ADDON

Both ways work fairly good but I can’t figure out how to get DPU to work with any of them. Has anybody had any experience with this or can maybe help?

Uploaded all the files to the appropriate directories and nothing seems to be working. I checked on the product pages that have radio buttons for attributes on them and nothing. Is there an SQL? Doesn't seem like there should be since it's just javascript. I wonder if it is playing nice with other stuff on my page...

Ok I have a problem...I am running v1.5 with DPU but things are not adding up correctly:

I have a product with no base price - priced by attributes

My first attribute has 2 options:
+$0.10 with one time charge of $17.50
+$0.15 with one time charge of $17.50

with either one of these above options everything add up correct

the next option is for
+$0.01 with one time charge of $20.00

here is where the problem starts:
with the first option of attribute 1 everything is fine
add the second option and instead of the price increasing it is decreasing...any one know why????
