shipworks plugin

There is a fix for attributes on page 4 that isn't in your file. My version is attached.

Oh yeah. Thanks. I didn't do that one because I don't use attributes. But it's good to have the full update.

I think I'm going to re-post over there, and see if I can nudge them to complete the integration. What I see as needing to be fixed to complete the integration are the following:

1. Ability to update SW with changes in status done in ZenCart.
2. Ability to pull all of the status change history from ZenCart.
3. On my ZenCart group discounts, SW adds the discount to the total rather than subtracting it, when importing the transaction.

Anyone have any other outstanding issues that need to be fixed?

The file I posted has an error. I'm going thru it again to repair the problem

Hey, good news! I just posted at ShipWorks and asked them to wrap up the integration. I got the following back:

We will soon officially support Zen Cart. Look for an update to ShipWorks in the next week or so.

Thanks. That attributes update also handled my group discount error. I posted 3 issues above, and now I'm down to 2.

I got an email from the shipworks development team asking for a list of what integration is needed. As you know, they are doing the integration now and so if you have a wish for some missing function, post it here and I'll fwd it.

My wish is to have the customer shipping choice recognized and pre-selected by shipworks. When I run a bulk postage print job, the two things that each order needs is to have adjusted are the postage type and the weight.

Please import payment information into shipworks. It would be great to know how and if a customer has paid. Currently, the only clue is the status. It would be nice if all of the information from paypal or authorize.net, for example, found its way into the shipworks database.

Also, shipworks needs a way to handle PO's, but that's another issue.

If you haven't seen it already, my post #47 fixes the quantity discounts adding instead of subtracting, as well as correct the same problem for Group Pricing. Hopefully these changes have been integrated into the most recent version.

If you don't find a solution soon, you will be able to replace your module with an officially supported one soon. I got the following from the SW forum about mid last week:

Probably unrelated to the shipworks thing, since it doesn't deal with non-admin pages.
Have you searched for the error message? ie: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?p=487733#post487733

As of today (October 14th / 2008) Shipworks now officially supports ZenCart,
the official plugin can be found in the downloads section of Shipworks.com

Perhaps the old version should be removed from the ZenCart website to avoid confusion.

I've installed the upgrade and new module, and it's working fine. But note, that the only thing that improves on Delia's version is that it's updating SW with changes to order statuses made in ZC. This is important, but the point is that the Delia version was pretty darned complete.
