Fast and Easy Checkout

Ok, having a bit of an issue here.

One page checkout. When using a coupon code and after applying the coupon code and go to continue the checkout process.

Click on confirm, page resets removing payment information.

Using Beanstream payment module.

Page resets to internal page: index.php?main_page=checkout&fecaction=null

Could this be incompatibility with the Beanstream module?

I've installed FEC 1.8.1 running on Zencart v1.3.8a

I've encountered a few problems:

1. enabling easy signup / login, this do allow the user to buy without an account BUT you have to add the link somewhere on the checkout page to direct it to no_account? this isnt really the issue, but the problem is having no account takes 5 steps to purchase while signup only 3 step (create account, checkout and confirm) i dont get why would anyone want to put their details and having to go through 5 steps to complete a purchase. For me thats not very fast and easy.

2. (Important question) At the checkout page for payment, shipping and billing. There are 2 buttons to change address for shipping and billing. When you click on this you will get a flash popup little window inside the same page which you can add a new address or select a previous one. This box does not work, if you input a new address or select a previous address and hit submit it still goes to main_page=checkout_shipping_address page where you have to input it again (so your previous input/selection was not saved or entered into the database at all).

I am normally pretty good at figuring this stuff out but this one has me stumped. I am thinking its a bug or simply a removed feature, just not sure which.

FEC 1-8-1
Zencart 1.3.9c

Problem: When the checkbox for "Same Address for Shipping/Billing" is checked the shipping address fields do not dissapear as they do with my current old version/install.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

I just tried it on mine also we have the same problem. My shipping charges working fine though. That seems to work fine. I will look into the coding tomorrow.

Check Numinix website, another person having the same problem posted the problem in his support forum:

Hi,

Is there an option, or hack, to show which customers are non account (cowoa) customers in admin.

I see that there is a COWOA admin add on for the COWOA Add on, but not sure whether I can use it with Fec.

I have 1.3.9d and fec 1.8.1 installed

You'll have to add the add on to add that feature. It will set no account under anyone name in the main admin page that bought using COWOA.

on another note...

Numinix stated they will be updating their mods to be 1.3.9 compatible sometime after June 14th.

How do I get rid of this last confirmation page and have go directly to Paypal? or make page stay longer and customer has to hit confirm button at end of page?

Correct you can added it, because FEC uses COWOA mod codes in it's module to make it compatible with COWOA.

Okay those buttons kind of workin IE.

When click the change/Edit address buttons does not work in firefox or IE

Coupon/discount update buttons work in IE but not firefox.

Problem lies in part of browser compatibility and the jquery files

I am looking into the file jquery_checkout.php and jquery_fec_change_new_address.js found in the includes/template/your_template/jscript/jquery/ directory

I set both one page checkout and split column to true. And still get confirmation page that lags only for a few seconds and then jumps to Paypal. How do I get rid of page or make extra time?
