Fast and Easy Checkout

The version 1.14.2 fixed this issue, with passwords and logging in

I am using Zencart 1.51
I installed Fast and Easy Checkout 1.14.2
The issue I have is that some of the language isn't being copied into the template. See example

It did it when i first installed, so i went back in and reuploaded all the files and redid all the changes they listed on the site. I can't figure out where I need to look to fix this. Suggestions much appreciated.

includes/languages/english/YOUR_TEMPLATE/no_account.php

and make sure that you changed all of the folders named "YOUR_TEMPLATE" to match the name of your templates folder..

But now when I go to checkout, it goes to a blank page, arrrgh

If I can't fix this and need to revert to my back up to get my shop up and live again, how does one go about just installing the COWA mod? That is no longer supported by the author but I see it is included in FEC. Also, I wonder why in the check out process with FEC, COWA comes as the last option for the customer at the bottom of the page?

Is it possible I missed a sql file? I see a folder with "previous sql updates" but does than mean there is a current one not in the folder I need to run?

I have the same problem...Don't have a sql file and fail to install.

Below, I stole v1.11.2's sql for v1.14.1's installation. (Cause I find .sql file only existed before 1.11.2)
Of cause, I failed.

I've carefully installed it without the js_loader.

The css on the checkout pages is weird. the input boxes for address look like stairs accross the page. I don't think that is intentional.

So, could anyone point me the right way to do the FEC install?
I had been dealing with Zencart for 3 months only, and was not good at coding.

Goolge numinix and go to their website.
Then go "Downloads" Then "Other Modules" and download and install the FREE "CSS/JS Loader".
You do not need to pay for anything just hit download now.
The installation instructions are in the "css_js_loader" folder > docs > css_js_loader > readme.html file
You don't need to install the sql file as it does it automatically when you go to your Admin.
Read the instructions.

Then go "Downloads" Then "Checkout" and the FREE "fec" is iright there.
You do not need to pay for anything just hit download now.
Download it and Unzip. After you unzip it go to the "catalog" folder > docs > fec > readme.html file.
Double cilck on the readme.html file to open it in a browser for installation instructions.
It's looks dificult but if you follow the instructions carefully it will work.
You don't need to install the sql file as it does it automatically when you go to your Admin.
Read ALL the instructions a couple times so you understand what is required.

Both the latest versions of the CSS/JS Loader and FEC are now available on THIS site.. If you go back a fe pages in this support thread, you'll see the discussion on where how to get the latest versions..

I followed all the instruction but still fail...... (I done all step except the optional changes and step 11 & 12)

For step 10, it is okay.

10. In the Admin Panel, go to Configuration->Layout Settings and set "Use split-login page" to True.
    

But for step 11 & 12, it is strange that the "Fast and Easy Checkout Configuration" page didn't showed content but only got save changes and cancel button. :dontgetit

11. In the Admin Panel, go to Configuration->Fast and Easy Checkout Configuration and set "Easy Sign-Up and Login" to true.
12. In the Admin Panel, go to Configuration->Fast and Easy Checkout Configuration and Enable the mod by setting "Fast and Easy Checkout" to true.
    

I don't have a clue why things are not showing up. It should be there.
Does I do anything wrong?:frusty:

NMI Payment gateway is not working after installing Fast and Easy checkout module.

Just wanted to let everyone know that my store is working properly now, though it took some investigating. Turns out, the reason that I was getting the blank page is because the software was looking for some files that weren't where they were supposed to be. Since I followed ALL the steps for upgrading, including creating a fresh install folder, then uploading my backedup database into the new one, it brought over some areas where there were supposed to be files. Since I knew that Numinx had been around for awhile and developing all these plugins (paid and free) for Zencart, I figured it was "user error." I was right!

I went through some basic retracking of my steps and researching on the forum about what could be the culprit of the blank page and learned that I needed to look at my error logs. There was the whole story. Once I found out what the error was and what files were missing, I was able to search and find what add-on or plugin had that file, then search for the updated version (because I wanted to use the plugin on the new install) and Voila! Working.

Thanks so much to everyone for their contributions. I hope that others who are having issues get them resolved, because I am by no means an expert, but I did learn from my hubby to research and deduct what could be wrong. :D

I tried to install the CSS/JS Loader, no css error but the "CSS/JS LOADER CONFIGURATION" didn't appear in my admin. As the installation step 3 mention "automatically added" (like below), suppose it means I don't need to do anything to activate it, however, nothing shown up in my admin.

Step 3. Login to your and the configuration menu should be automatically added to CONFIGURATION->CSS/JS LOADER CONFIGURATION

If not, which part of the installing code is related to this?

because you tried to re-install FEC, the group ID is off. Try doing these two things.

1.) Run the uninstall.sql then after that it should reinstall itself, and it should have the proper gID
or
2.) try increasing the gID= in the address bar one at a time, 33,34,35,36

try those two items

Which version of zencart are you running? The most recent NMI payment gateway is for 1.3.7, is there another version you are using? This could be the problem?

I am using 1.3.9h zencart. But it was working fine in 1.3.9h before I installed fast and easy checkout. Could you please suggest me how to resolve this issue.

are all your payment methods at different sort values and none at zero? any issues with shipping modules, do you have an Non-shared ssl?
