setting up zen cart like this...

I'm new to zen cart and am wondering how difficult it would be to set it up to run like the shopping cart here:
http://www.michaelweinman.com/shop/index.php?p=catalog&parent=2&pg=1

This is pretty much exactly what I need. However, I don't need the dhtml image enlargement function. This site looks like a modified zen cart so I'm hoping it wouldn't be too hard for me to set this up.

Any help or direction would really, really be appreciated!

Re: setting up zen cart like this...

Hi, marglar, that cart was set up using something called Tomcart, not Zen Cart. Nevertheless, there are enough detailed instructions on how to modify Zen Cart in the wiki and FAQs to get an almost identical effect.

Start by reading the "ten things every new zenner should know" (or something similar) in the FAQs and go from there.

Or you could do worse than starting on this page Administration#How_to

There are also some templates already in existence contributed by the community. You may well be able to find something close to what you want.

Re: setting up zen cart like this...

to customise zencart to look and act simular to the site above is pritty simple. im guessing you wanting a fully virtual products, ie downloads, zencart has this build in from standard, you will just need to learn some css to style zen to you likin and learn the admin panel to turn off everything like the postage and columes etc.
