10736 Shipping Address Invalid City State Postal

I just recieved this error as well using "LaGrange" as the city name. I changed it to "Lagrange" and it still did not work. So I put a space into the town name "la grange" and seemed to work ok.

My guess is that Paypal has a database of city names and validates orders against it strictly. I hope this isnt an issue with too many locations..

Have been using ZC 1.3.7.1 for 18 months now and yesterday had the same error for the first time.

The customer eventually got the order through - after 3 tries.

The address is a US address with zip code "74075-8704". Me thinks that this (extended) zip code may have caused the error on the PP site. All other address details do not seem to be irregular.

Could this be the answer?

I just received two emails with error for this with PayPal Express. Customer is from Lewisville Texas. She has tried several times and keeps getting error:

ALERT: PayPal Express Checkout Error (10727)
10727 Shipping Address1 Empty - The field Shipping Address1 is required

I am using zencart 1.3.8a

I agree. I sent her back email to make sure address is filled out. She said she did both times and thinks it is shopping cart. I can see her customer login and complete address is present in Zencart admin.

Is she picking a bum address in PayPal? Is she trying to hide her address when choosing preferences on the PayPal site before returning to yours?

Brothers are great! Got mine to do an order. He got error report. This is detail. I have been trying to get WordPress mod to work, but have not touched this file. Also, checked to make sure it was not hacked. I have been using FEC for a very long time without this problem.

I have not touched tax rates or descriptions either.

Ok, I did complete uninstall and deleted all files for WordPress on Zencart install for v1.4. And my terrific brother did another order...and it completed without error. NO more errors!!:clap:
