Turned on MSRP..but it displays all the time...How do you turn it off for non group members (normal customers)? As it is it displays the same price twice...duh....:oops:

Fixed this myself.....now only logged in users see this....:clap:

The install went well, I have a zen_ prefix and used the appropriate sql patch with phpmyadmin. It's giving me a success message that the customer was added to the group but when I view the group the customer is not there....help!

Thanks for your post. I've been wondering how the mod was going for people. It's had quite a few downloads but no feedback. Figured no news was good news. ;)

Was this a new group you just created? If so, I think I can reproduce the error. Although I'm not sure why when it didn't behave that way before. Anyway, let's see what I can do about ensuring it doesn't happen again.

Please find attached a .zip containing two updated files for OGP. I've worked over the admin side like I mugged it in an alley. Hehe! It seems to behave perfectly, except for two idiosyncrasies regarding split page results. One, if you have more than one page of customer records, page 2 and higher won't load with the first customer pre-selected, you'll have to click to actually make the selection. Two, using the dropdown to change pages will redirect you to the group home page, while the prev/next links will get you back and forth between customer pages just fine.

I'll put that on my future to-do list, and I'll resubmit the mod for download so the file set will be current everywhere. Please feel free to let me know if it needs anything else. Hope this helps! :)

Oddly enough, I had to create a group which actually ADDS 15% to the normal price. Since this group is paying above the base price, I don't want them to see the "retail price vs your price" display. Can someone point me in the right direction to just have the pertinent price displayed?

From the readme file, under Setup & Instructions:

5.) There is one small thing you can do if you'd like. The MSRP definitions (the personalized text your customers will see) can easily be changed by opening

	-- includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/group_pricing.php

and editing the text to suit. You can also remove it entirely if you prefer. Simply comment or uncomment the examples given.

Forgot about the savings display. Sorry! In addition to the above, open includes/functions/functions_prices.php and change line 355 from:

$final_display_price = TEXT_ORIGINAL_PRICE . '<s>' . $show_normal_price . ' </s>' . $show_group_price . $show_sale_discount;

to:

$final_display_price = $show_group_price;

Now you should be all set. :)

Yeah, was an odd thing. My client is a wholesaler that sells motorcycle parts to distributers/dealers. BUT, they have a handful of customers that are either mechanics or racing teams that they sell to at a discount from retail, but not as cheaply as they sell to distributers. Thus, their pricing is geared to the distributors so I had to create a "Racers" group and bump the distributor pricing by 15% for them.

I was just teasing you. Their setup makes perfect sense, and I'm so glad the mod can help! :)

Has anyone installed Toni's version 0.25 on Zen Cart version 1.3.8a or am I better using version 0.21?

I'd love to use this mod but not sure which one would be my safest bet!

I've coded it for 1.3.9h, but I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work for 1.3.8a. I just can't think of a reason why you're using 1.3.8a. LOL! Kidding - I know upgrading is a pain when you're heavily modded. I must be into pain 'cause I've done 'em all. ;)

I have a client that needs to be able to isolate different products from the group pricing so that wholesalers, if they were to purchase those particular products, they would have to pay retail price.

Is there any way of doing this?
