Tabbed Products Pro (TPP) Contrib - Official Thread

I just did a fresh install and turned on the global tabs for the cross sell and the cross sell module is still at the bottom and not in the tabs. Everything else looks ok so far.

I turned off the global products description tabs to see how that looks and it looks ok except in chrome it shows the description up top (where it should be) and then at the end of each tab page. I didn't make any changes to any of the files yet. Just in the admin.

I believe that one of your non-TPP edits is causing this. As you can see on my test shop I do not get this same behavior in Chrome..

Sorry I just seen you said non-TPP. I wonder what it is then? I can't seem to figure it out.

All the editing I did was just added those 3 codes in the tpl_product_info_display and I put them where the instructions told me.
I'm stumped then.. because clearly what you see in my test store doesn't have the same behavior you describe in Chrome..:dontgetit

I have no idea either lol. I am going to my cousin's wedding in a bit so when I get home tonight I will keep trying to figure it out. Thanks for trying to help. :)

My guess is the cross sell module.. Try uninstalling it and see if you get TPP functioning correctly..

I completely unistalled the cross sell module and it didn't change anything.

Okay I thought I completely unistalled it but I didn't. It still showed up in my admin area. So I am going to try and completely unistall it this time and hopefully the TPP looks better.

Okay now it's completely unistalled and the files have been deleted and it's still the same way.Again.. this is likely more a result of some other modifications you've made from other add-ons which are causing TPP to behave incorrectly.

As you can see in my test store, the issues you are reporting are not present.. I have v1.05 (with updates needed for Zen Cart v1.3.9 compatibility) installed, and I have very few other add-ons installed on this test store (Super Orders, Calendar Events, IH2, ZLB, and FEC). None of the add-ons I have installed on this test store modify the same files as TPP.

Can you roll back to a version of your store before you installed TPP and Cross Sell?? Do you have other modules which touch any of the same files as TPP?

Okay I think I figured it out. I deleted the <!--bof Product description --> to the <!--eof Product description --> and it took it off the bottom.

Then I turned on the Global Main Image and the Global Product Description and I had an extra image up top and in the product description tab along with an extra product title and product price. So then I deleted all the way from <!--bof Main Product Image --> to <!--eof Product Price block --> and it seemed to fix that.

I am going to reinstall the cross sell mod and hopefully it will go under the tab. If not I'm not sure on it lol.

The only back up I have is right before I installed the TPP. It already included the Cross Sell mod on it.

:laugh: Thanks! I will take a look and see what I can find.

I have looked and looked and I just can't find anything on it. I never had the Cross Sell mod installed on my test site and I just installed it and got the same results as on my live site. I think this mod likes to irritate me :laugh:

I have decided to completely unistall it and never use it again. It has given me so much trouble. Thanks for all the help though!

So I tried testing this on an iphone and iPad, the tabs switch just fine but the content does not load under each tab... it stays stuck on the product description.

Has anybody else experienced this? I'm running TPP 1.7.
