Simple SEO URL (OLD version) [support thread]

The most recent version of SSU is working good and my shopping cart hasn't disappeared this time. :smile:

The WordPress links wouldn't work (I'm using Wordpress for ZenCart)... but I wasn't very impressed with WordPress anyway and I was only using it to announce updates so I decided to do away with WP. I'm using the Main Page instead. Which is probably better. I'm just mentioning this in case it's a problem for somebody else. I don't need WP.

I can't get the Manage Aliases: Click here link to come up. I do have ALiases turned on. SSU is turned on. SSU-Check looks good. I'm using latest versions of SSU and ZenCart. So I'm not sure why. The link looks like this in my Admin directory:

/ssu.php?action=link_aliases

I know that both of the SSU php files are where they are supposed to be, in the root of the Admin directory, one of which is the Alias file.

I went away for a few hours and came back and discovered that my ZenCart Admin had finally spit out an error message. YAY. When have I been excited to see an error message? :smile: So, here's the clue about why the SSU Alias Manager won't come up when I click on the link:

Render error, file not found(/home/XXXXX/public_html/admin/includes/templates/templates/ssu/tpl_ssulink_aliases.php)

I'm trying to figure out why the url is wrong but I'm a little confused. (The XXXXX's are just to replace my server name.)

You are using an older version of Module Manager, try rev 16 from:
http://code.google.com/p/zencart-module-manager/downloads/list

Yes, I did have rev 16 but I installed it again. And emptied all the caches. And checked Module Manager and it says that I have SSU 3.6.1 installed, no complaints.

The file it's trying to find doesn't exist in the templates folder: tpl_ssulink_aliases.php

The file is tpl_link_aliases.php

Weird, since tpl_link_aliases.php is the file it needs, not tpl_ssulink_aliases.php

For this specific problem, I will probably have to actually check the admin and the ftp to see what is going on. Again, this is your important info, so only can decide if it's worth to send me those info to check or not.

Then you dont have to worry about SSL, if you dont use it yet.

Yup, look correct to me. You are using Ultimate Seo Url right? You will have to remove that module completely first

3.6.2 is released, this is a minor bug fix version, just some spelling correction, and a small fix to make link alias manager to work in Internet Explorer

Problems once again? what am I doing wrong....I have downloaded the latest version, followed the instructions and uploaded it to my website, then went to go to admin but just got the message INTERNAL SERVER ERROR, could not get to the site either. I have now uninstalled SEO and can see my site once again and get into admin. Is anybody able to help, what am I doing wrong. How do you install the PATCH there does not seem to be any instructions for that part.

Internal server error = 99% wrong htaccess config.

As instructed, uninstalled Ultimate SEO Url and installed your SSU mod successfully.

But when go to my site, errors occured. can not open any links. please chekc at
https://www.hangerbase.com

One more question, when click Admin->extra->simple Seo Url Manager->Alias Functions,
nothing appears.

How to updated? just run little SQL, or to re-load all new files to overwrite
