It's saying you are using mysql5, go to you admin->version and you should see the php version listed.

If i got to admin/extras/simple seo manager it come up with this error now :(

you are using php4. Usually it is very easy to switch to php5, contact your host.

Hi Yellow that was the problem lol . It all works now . I thought i had php5 as thats what it said in my admin but it wasn't :( so 3 days wasted lol trying to figure it out.

I have now installed 2.9.6 and everything is working apart from 1 problem thats bugging me.

On every page at the top right (below the language:english) i am getting random numbers appear .

not sure what that is, but doesnt look like something generated by SSU tho.

It is , when i turn ssu off it disappears.

When i turn it on i get random numbers on every page.

I don't think i'll ever get SSU to work right.

Ok after the screw up with the USU, I have now created another instance of Zencart. It has now just got SSU. This is very simple as the name suggests - without .html (or any extension).
I will now start installing all other modules.

I have just spent 2 days solid trying to get it work and i have now achieved this simply adding this code to my .htaccess

AddType x-mapp-php5 .php

My server is always PHP4 by default but it has PHP5 installed.

i get this error when I click on Admin->extra->Simple Seo URL Manager

Error: the xajax Javascript component could not be included. Perhaps the URL is incorrect?

I have Zen Cart 1.3.8a with PHP 5.1.2 and simple SEO URL yellow1912_ssu 8 Beta 3.5.7. I have the latest module manager and the install looks OK. I have change the .htaccess content to match the output from ssu_check.php.

I have set my cache to be "files" and it lives under the ssu directory. When I cleared the caches for each area I had to create the directories for catagories and products with write permission.

I can see my redirect is working to index.php?/<categories> like Coffee, Tea etc, but I do not get any files in the cache area and I have no entries in Manage Aliases: on the admin screen.
I have tried to check all the FAQ and forums as well as the Config area on http://wiki.rubikintegration.com/zencart/modules/ssu including troubleshooting, but cannot see a similar problem.

I have php5 outputting errors and I get none.

How do I debug this module to find out what is not working?

question: I have woz and i just installed SSU.. SSU has converted my woz links.. how do I change my woz links to work correctly with ssu?

You are right about the "/store/?cat=5" problem. I'm not sure why wordpress is not showing up properly. I've contacted the module designer for WOZ module for help. Do you have any idea on how to make sure the URL comes out: "index.php?main_page=index&" instead of just "?"?

For the Module Manager problem, I figured that out. When I uninstalled SSU the first couple of times, I thought that admin/includes/module_installation and admin/includes/templates were only SSU files and I deleted the whole section. Forgot that MM had files in there too.

Do you use any other seo module? If so you must completely remove the others.
