Simple SEO URL (OLD version) [support thread]

Some of my URLS are now displaying the weird c_xxx in the URLS after wiping out my cache last night:

http://www.kids-n-cribs.com/bob-strollers-bob-revolution-duallie-c-85_87

Before, the URL was like this:

http://www.kids-n-cribs.com/bob-strollers/bob-revolution-duallie

Similarly, one like this:

http://www.kids-n-cribs.com/bob-strollers-bob-revolution-duallie-c-85_87/bob-revolution-duallie-mesa-orange-bob-revolution-duallie-p-386

Used to be:

http://www.kids-n-cribs.com/bob-strollers-bob-revolution-duallie/bob-revolution-duallie-mesa-orange-bob-revolution-duallie

Any ideas why clearing the cache would have changed these?

Hi, I am using zencart version 1.3.8a. After installing the module_manager rev 18, I installed SSU version 3.5.8
When I clicked on admin>extra>SSU Manager, a fatal error appeared as followed:

Fatal error: Class 'yclass' not found in /home/yourprec/public_html/mono/ssu.php on line 16

Can I know how to fix this? I have studied some post regarding 'yclass' but I still do not understand what should be done.

if you are getting and error with ri_template.php
make sure you have the latest file from here

It seems odd that being able to re-write to include or exclude "www." isn't a default feature in the .htaccess? This can have a big impact on pagerank distribution throughout a site.

I am getting is message after installing the module manager. Is this normal? Can this be ignored?

I have a problem with Interner Explorer finding the correct path of my stylesheets and images with the product info pages - like here http://www.xn----7sbeocpcbufeok3buh.com/samoletni_bileti_do_avstria/samoletni_bileti_do_linc Whenever it opens an url with more than one slash after the domain name, IE loses it's way through the site. I tried playing a bit with the base href tag, without success. Any ideas how to solve the problem will be appreciated.

after downloading and uploading rev18, i logged onto admin and clicked on tools > module manager in admin. i get this error

Please help installed module manager rev 18 and installed Simple SEO 3.8.0, got admin>extras>Simple SEO URL Manager , it opens but I never saw database patches have been applied and I have no admin>configuration>Simple SEO URL Manager zencart 1.3.8a.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ah, you meant remove to cart. Yes, the quickest way to fix this is to go to the admin config of ssu and put shopping_cart in the page exclude list.

Ok this has been solved. No modul manager was installed.
Now for the second problem

If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.
I tried to copy the content of 0.sql file in admin install patches but I get the same problem.
I am trying to install version 3.5.0 that is the only one I have been able to dwld.

I have got this mod working fine, showing aliases, manufacturers etc. However, what I really want to be able to do is add the manufacturer name to the product name block of the url, so instead of:

http://site.com/category-name/product-name

I want:

http://site.com/category-name/manufacturer-product-name

Any help would be gratefully apreciated.

Hi I have been able to install the simple seo but if I turn it on, and try to browse my site I always get this error message

HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found
The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

The strange thing is that the url's are shortned and made simple, and very nice I sould say, but then is seems that the url's are not in the server or recognized from IIS.
Can some one help please?
