I have a client who is having an issue with this mod. I recently upgraded her store to 1.3.9h and installed the latest version of SSU. She was using an older version on her old site. Now, for just one category, she is consistently getting a page not found error. It happens occasionally on another category as well. But everything else is fine. I have tested on three different computers, with multiple browsers, and have never been able to replicate the issue. However, she has had friends try and they have experienced it as well. What could be causing this?

Works fine for me. I tried it with IE8, Chrome, Firefox. I didn't get any errors. I tried the whole site.

zen cart 1.3.9a. The cart has problems and we are trying to work out a few issues to hold them over until they upgrade.

I'm not sure if this is related to ssu or not so I'll post in this thread. I've been posting about a problem with ssu and the cart owner discover a broken link. This is where it happens.
On the shopping cart page when we click on the return to shopping button it should go back to the last item viewed. Instead it goes to the home page. But when logged in as a customer and we click on the return to shopping button the link goes to a page not found.
I turned off ssu to see what link is actually generated and this is what it says

I don't know if this error in the cache folder is related

Having a problem with this. I'm using Zen Cart 1.3.9h. I installed Module Manager Rev18 and my site was still working ok. I then installed Simple SEO URL 3.8.8 and added the extra lines to my html_output.php and .htaccess files. After this when I tried to view my site, I get a 403 Forbidden error page.

I've tried accessing the ssu_check.php file but I get a 403 Forbidden page for that too. I've been using the instructions found at http://wiki.rubikintegration.com/zencart/modules/ssu/installation. I can see the Module Manager and the Simple Seo URL in my admin pages, but I'm not getting anything anymore on my site. My site is https://www.soyofthenorth.co.uk for anyone who needs to see the error page.

Bit of a technical question regarding the Simple SEO mod. I have supertracker installed, and I install Simple SEO a few days ago.

I've noticed on my Supertracker mod that customers are clicking on products/pages that are meant to be product page links such as /Personalised-Candle but my super tracker is telling me they are clicking on links such as:

/includes/templates/***********/images/menu_bg.gif

&

/images.htm

Is there any way to get these to show the correct links that the customers are clicking on? When I click on 'Who's Online' and click the link the customer is on it brings me a 404 Error.

Couldn't figure out what was wrong so restored an old copy of my .htaccess file and everything started working again, so problem solved.

Is anybody else having a hard time getting the link alias manager to render in Firefox 4? I don't even see it!

Seems to work fine in Chrome.

I have installed this add on a couple of times but I am encountering a weird error on this install I can't locate resolution. When I click on any of the products on the main index page I get an error page not found. If I go to a sub category page that lists just furniture items for example and click on the same item that was on the index page it works fine from this page. Why would it work for the sub-category page and not from the index page?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

OK, probably a dumb question but here goes...

I have installed SSU /zencart 1.3.9h. PHP Version: 5.2.14
In admin i see -

InstructionSSU caches your categories/products names and links in order to reduce the number of sql queries and minimize the performance penalty on your server. That has its drawback, however. If you change your categories/products names, you will need to reset the cache to force SSU reload and update the names. Cache FunctionsReset all cache: Click here

What do I do now? The links onthe site are still in zencart format.
Is this installed right or have I missed something?

I have just installed version 3.5.8 and now when I go to my admin section it is a blank page. I tried adding

RewriteEngine Off

to the .htaccess in the admin folder with no luck. Although that doesn't appear to be the problem as it simply loads blank very quickly. Any advice? i'll be messing with it to see what I can figure out.

Scratch that I had admin\includes\functions\extra_functions\ssu.php from version 2.9.6 filves out there and deleting that file fixed it.

Now I do have an issue though. When I go to Extras | Simple SEO I get a Http 500 page not found and the url is admin\ssu.php which is there.

As of right now my site works but has some nasty URLs any help is appreciated before I uninstall

I installed Simple Seo Urls and had an error come up on pages when activated. So in the .htaccsss file I copied some code I found on the support website , link -

Update to version 3.8.8 Your cache will not be half as big and with some bug fixes as well.
You can get 3.8.8 from here

You will need to update Module Manager to it's latest version if you haven't done that yet. On the new version of Simple Seo 3.8.8 the old Module Manger will not work.

The latest version is 3.8.8. You will need to update Module Manager also. 3.8.8 will not run on the old Module Manager. Check the links above to download the latest versions.

I have two huge problems with ssu and I hope you will help me, because it's important. Thanks.

1. I have a lot of categories but first problem concerns only two categories. Every few days (but sometimes errors appears after 2-3 days, sometimes after week) one category of them "crashes" and anybody can't enter in. Browser shows error about blocked cookies. What is more when this error occurs, in the "/cache/ssu/categories" appears "playstation-3-c-13.html" file although proper file existed all time (playstation-3-c-13). I need clear all cache in the suu admin panel for eliminate this problem, what is annoying (deleting file with .html extension doesn't fix problem).

2. Second error concerns advanced search. When I use search to find any product with long name like "Dead Space 2 - Limited Edition (PS3)", "Crysis 2 - Limited Edition (PC)", "Camera to PS3 Playstation eye", and I will try to use buy button on the advanced search's result page, my browser shows cookies error. "advanced_search_result" is on the Exclude list.

How to fix this serious problems? Thanks for help.

For second error:

I see that this error appears ONLY when I use more than one keyword eg "computer mouse" instead "mouse". How to fix this problem? Please help...
