Product Qty Min/Unit Mix: Yes / No

If you are using:
Minimum: 1
Maximum: 0
Units: 1
Those are the defaults ...
When using Attributes and you want to say Minimum 3 you can indicate if the 3 can be a Mix of Attributes or 3 of the same definition ...
Same holds true with Maximum and Units ...

Does anyone know of a clever way to dynamically set these based on a product attribute? For example, I'm selling a dozen cookies (1 unit), which usually comes in a box (first attribute). If someone wants a cookie jar (alternative attribute to box), they must order in increments of TWO dozen cookies - in other words "Units" should be "2".

I am having a problem with the Product Qty Min and the unit mix. I have set a min of 5 and the mix to yes as I want our customers to mix with the either size of t-shirt or color. But for some reason it works great on my test site but not on my live site. I have checked the database and the files and everything is the same I even ftp the entire test site file to the live site and still it is isn't working.
The problem is at the shopping cart. It doesn't seem to be adding the attributes quantities correctly. I have attached some screen shots to show the problem. I just can't work out the problem.
Since this is our wholesale site we need to have minimum quantities as the discounts are for bulk orders not just for one offs.

It looks like you are trying to use the Minimim/Maximum/Units that is designed for 1 Product and utilize it across multiple Products ...
How many products_id numbers are involved here?
There is an add-on that may be able to handle this ...

It is only for one product-id that has attributes (Size and color). So I am not trying to use this with multiple products just a single product. As you can see in my screen shots it is the exactly the same product just a variety of attribute choices, which is suppose to count altogether to work out if it meets the min.
Also the weird thing is it works just fine on my test site just not on my live site.

I see that is a clip of your shopping cart not your product listing ...
Do you have the Mix ON for that product?

I have the mix set to yes. That was the first thing I checked. I just don't understand what the problem is.
My test site works fine - I even copied the database from my live site to my test site and it worked on the test site. So I then ftp the files from my test site to my live site and still no changes on the live site. Is there something I am missing? My test site is on a different hosting company than my live site.

What happens if you switch to the Classic Template ... does this work better?
What version of Zen Cart?
Clean install or an Upgrade?

Switch to classic doesn't fix the problem on the live site.
Zencart 1.3.7.1
Clean install
I have the exact same cart on my test site and it works but it doesn't with the live site.

I am guessing that you have this turned off right now on this product as I cannot reproduce this on your site ...
Have you used something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com to ensure that your test site and your live site is, infact, a duplicate clone without any differences on the files or database?

I have turned it on for one product only which is: http://www.kravwholesale.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_7&products_id=19
In regards to the scootersoftware.com that is for windows and I am on a mac. But I have ftp the entire test site onto my live site. And I copied the live site database onto the test site and the database worked fine on the test site.
My live site is on camelot-hosting and the test site is on hostmonster.com so do you think it as anything to do with the host?

Did you have this problem before or after you added the add-on?

TextWrangler or BBedit are mac alternatives to BeyondCompare or WinMerge:

It was working fine with the add on it just started having a problem but as I have said I have the exact same data and files on my test site and i have no problems. I have asked my host if there is a server issue and they have asked me to talk to you Linda. I just don't understand! On one server's host the site works fine and then on my live site it doesn't.
I am gong out of my mind here!

Are you 100% certain that you have exactly the same code on both servers?
And exactly the same database content on both (give or take a few customers+orders from the last day or two)?

I am pretty sure as I copied the live database over to the test site and I ftp the test site files to the live site.

Well I have done another test - I setup another zencart shop on my camelot server in a new directory. I used the exact files from my test site and i used the database from my test site and copied it to a new database on camelot. (obviously I changed the config files to use a new database and the new directory)
Now on my test site that is not on camelot (it is on Hostmonster.com) the min works totally fine I can set min and I can check out with all the modules that are now on the new shop.
But when I use the new shop in the directory on camelot I get the exact same problems as the live site. So my conclusion is there is something not working on camelot. Why is the min error checking not working correctly on camelot and working perfectly on hostmonster?
What would be the problem on camelot and not on my other hosting server?
I have attached photos of the exact same shoppingcart one on camelot's new shop with the exact same database and exact the same files as my test site which is on hostmonster.
