I have a good IDE- mistake was not to use the "Check Syntax" before publishing.

Global and group level redeem rates.
Customer Reward Point maintenance including award of further points
Reward point sidebox display config item.
Sunrise period config item
Simple or Advanced order status to point award tracking

Anyone any pressing items that needs to go into the final release??

Very nice andrew :clap: Those are great features you have added. I haven't found any other problems and I went live with my site. So far so good. I found work around for the sale items getting reward points based on base price, I just adjusted the point ratio for those items so it comes out correctly. It works until you get your final released.

It's not really a fix, it's more like a work around. All I did was change the point ratio on the items that have a reduced price. If you have lots of Items I guess it could be a pain, but it works until Andy releases the next version. I think he fixed it?

Just have to remember to put them back if the item goes back to regular price :cool:

Andy, this includes being able to give the person that referred the customer reward ponits also?

PCT- I'll add a config item that allows you to select between base price and final price- Should this be with/without tax- or should that also be a configuration item?

JC- Is there any programmatic way of finding out who the referrer is??? If so there should not be a problem with thisax

Actually with the ability for the admin to award points that your putting in, you could do that using the built in referal tracker that comes with zen cart. Yes it would be manual, but he is probably looking for automation. Just wanted to point out it could be done manually simply by checking the referal report and awarding points manually based on that report. Just have to run it once a day.

Unless you get 100's of new customers a day, manually works. I do it that way now. Read this for how it works http://pinetreecandles.com/shop/discount_coupon.html. Of course once I can manually award points I will do that.

You know I have been thinking about how to do this to, but if I can do manually for now that is fine.

One other question, with the global or group redeem fix. can we also set seperate ratios for groups? Just wondering

as you are adding things into the module, are you able to add a max number of points to be used at any one time?

To my point of view, this module is very important and should be included in the core version of zen-cart ( art of e-commerce! ).
I think that the points should be in pending mode only if the payment is pending too (ie check / cod...).
But if the customer paid with credit card, the points should be automatically validated.
Our customers sometimes place two consecutive orders with a different delivery address (usually for gifts).

So the idea is :

• points are immediately earned for immediate payments (visa etc...).
• points are pending for other payment methods (check etc...)

For current method, pending points that are earned after status change, there should be a checkbox that allows the points to be earned or not.

I actually would prefer to have the option to set (immediate, Delivery,days (input up to 31days manually). Maybe give same option for each payment method. This way the admin can dial in their own comfort level, to help combat ID fraud.
