font size variation in firefox and IE, Im stuck?

Sheep, being able to help a problem like this is payment enough, as it was a great learning experience for me (and obe1). When you get to participate in something like this, it takes you away from the ordinary, everyday Zen-Cart problems, so it was actually quite refreshing, along with the hair pulling. The only thing I ask of you, is when you learn how to read/write css, and learn the ins and outs of ZC.............come in here (forum) and give it back to the ZC community. That's how we all get by, and made Zen-Cart what it is today.....people helping people.
And like obe1 said, if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to look me up and send a pm. I'll be there.

obe1, it was a pleasure working with you on this problem. Sorry about your wife. I wish you both the best.

Teach them to shop and they will shop today;
Teach them to Zen and they will OWN a shop tomorrow!

Re: font size variation in firefox and IE, Im stuck?

Thanks, and same to you Get Em Fast :D

I'll be looking for you and maybe we will end up working together again on another problem. I would like the tag team efforts as I see a lot of post go unanswered for lengthy periods of time. The way I feel is that the more we can help one another instead of just say, "problem solved" and not posting the solutions for everyone else, the more the developers of ZC can stay focused on what they need to.

I'll be checking in on you two from time to time :wink:

Y'all be Blessed!!!!'

Thank you for the link. I have bookmarked it and will keep it for reference. I hope all goes well with your wife and if you need anything, even an ear, please let me know. I will keep you, your wife and family in my prayers.

CountingSheep;

Here is on good spot:

http://xhtml.com/en/css/reference/

And you have to remember one thing, designing GOOD css is an art, just like the designers of Zen Cart did. It is not just a one time thing, and the only way you learn is by doing and studying different coding examples. CSS is not really learned like html or even php, but a different coding beast in and of itself to tame. The main thing is to have patience, and if you are not understanding it, take a break and come back to it but a little slower. With time and pressing on you will get it. There is a A LOT to learn about Zen Cart and how it is all tied together from the database side all the way to changing something simple like a header.

I have received payment enough by being able to help and participate in the community as well as learn some things from Get Em Fast. I am going to removed myself from the thread now that it has been solved, but you have my screen name and you can always PM me and I will do what I can or see what thread you have started to help.

The only other thing I ask for payment is that if you are a praying person, that my wife will not have any more brain surgeries this year. She has had 8 since last September.

Blessings...
