Bulgarian language pack UTF-8 compliant

Hi,
i can't read the Bulgarian symbols when i set the products. The encoding is UTF-8 but still i can't. Can you help me?

thank ypu. i put your language pack and some promlems i resolve, but i found anothet.
now, i want to edit some product, update information, and all the cyr simbols become: ?�?�???�???�??? 3 or ?????????????? ???????????? :shocking:
i think i shoud install all aver again :frusty:

Please bear in mind that ALL files in your shop should be converted to utf-8 (not only Bulgarian).

change page encoding and you will see those names appear correctly.

търсих го къде ли не, променях какво ли не и не става и не става. успявам да дръпна дясната колона повечко надясно и средната на ляво. при което средната застъпва лявата.. :no: ако ме разбираш по обясненията :blink:

На първия пост... прегледай си файловете... ако някой не е УТФ-8 ще береш бая ядове.

на втория пост... прегледай си CSS-а
там търси width, в повечето темплейти е зададено в пиксели (май), ти го задай 100% и виж какво ще се получи.
Това по памет, щото ме мързи да търся конкретно. (ще го намериш 99% съм сигурен)

а няма ли някакъв начин за конвертиране на повече от един файл заведнъж.. че ми се взима здравето :shocking:
ти как ги конвертираш? аз ги отварям с ftp или ги редактирам от там направо, ама ако искам да ги редактирам трябва първо да ги сваля.. :blink:
а имаше нещо с вградените редактори на c-panel, ама не се сещам кой беше. а и не ми отваря в момента c-panel-а изобщо :frusty: :yuck:

йееее, най-накрая го оправих!
конвертирах си де що файл намерих, часове си играх.. :blink:
накрая се сетих да си оправя базата данни, нам колацията сложих на UTF-8 и се оправи :clap:

само това с CSS-a не мога да открия къде е. пипах всички файлове, дето имам css, ама нещо май ми идва в повече напрежението. ще пробвам утре след работа :yes: :lamo:

Не ми излизат Ш и Щ буквите, предполагам и други типично български. Колацията на базата данни ми е utf8_general_ci . Твоята каква е?

мдам... и аз имам този проблем, просто ме мързи да го оправям и гледам да не използвам ш и щ :)
а магазина не е мой. на приятел е.

потърси в директорията на темплейта ти stylesheet.css
там трябва да е този пасаж по-горе.

инсталирай си Notepad++ той има опция да се върже по ФТП, да свали файла и като го запишеш да го запише на сайта.
Доста е удобен.

Sorry, It is comment on "Bulgarian language translation", we assumed that someone who does not understand Bulgarian, should not be interested...

Hi guys another bgfag here :)
Now I just installed zen cart v1.3.8a and I'm really new to this. I'm using it with the Bulgarian language pack from lazy_666 (thanks by the way). I had the same encoding problem and when I created a new category in Bulgarian it was displayed as ???????
Since the installation was new I just dropped the db and created it again with the collation set to utf8_general_ci. Reinstalled zen cart and everything is working fine.
However right now when I try to create a category in Bulgarian zen simply cuts off everything after the fourth character.
I read somewhere that a manual change to the db must be applied but I have no idea what to do.

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated :)

P.S: Bulgarian is set as a default language and the admin panel is also in Bulgarian.

I manage to find the answer myself so I'm posting this for anyone who experiences the same issue.

All that needs to be done is go to the category_description then category_name and set the VARCHAR from 32 to a bigger number (I set it to 255).
