Payment options not showing

This a error along with a couple of other errors that are showing up after trying to reinstall a back up after having Mulit Site Module added and then removed.

I am not sure if that is what caused the problem but now when anyone goes to the checkout the only option showing is the Credit Card.

The admin section has Paypal as well as Money Orders/ Checks installed and on. So those 3 as well should show.

Could someone please help as this is becoming a issue more and more as well as the fact I have no idea how to fix as it was only after the module install was not successful and then trying to go back to the old cart seems to not be working out for us as well.

Didn't you pull a backup before the install?

I did and thought I had uploaded the whole thing properly but I am thinking I may have to complete clear out the store and reupload the store and the database and see if it fixes it. The main problem with this is that she gets an order almost every other day if not evey day and we can't really afford to keep doing this to see if it works as this keeps setting all orders back to the last one when I saved the database.

OK I think this issue was before we did the Multi Site Module. She can see the check out. But anyone else can't. I can't on IE or Safari . I am not sure why she can see the other methods of payments and can even use them but others plus me can not see nor use it. So this seems to have been an issue before.

I have upgraded her to 1.3.8 but that still seems to not have fixed this issue. What do I do now?

The answer was there the whole time. I had no idea that if you set the Zone to USA it causes it to not show for some odd reason.
So I now have it set to None and it now shows.
TY For being patient and trying to figure out why it was not working. I was hoping it had to be something simple in the Admin area .

That suggests that the zone you created named "USA" likely doesn't have all the appropriate states linked to it.

Yes I found that out. It was set to Florida in the zone of USA not all the states. So I have fixed the issue and now all is good.

I have a fresh install of zen 1.38a - however only cash on delivery is showing as a payment option. I want nochex & paypal to display as well. I am just stuck.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the modules, I have re- ftp'd the appropriate modules up.

No zones have been created or are being used on the site.

I am far from a zen novice (have built about 50 stores to date)

I know its something stupid - but I am banging my head against a wall here.

Any pointers or kicks in the right direction would be appreciated.

What kind of Products are you trying to sell?

Clan crest badges and embroidery kits - general product types with attributes.

I reckon a file has got corrupted as I have a duplicate site sitting on the server in a sub folder so I am slowly going through winmereg to try and find out whats went wrong.

Does sound like a bad file or bad data ...

You said you removed all Payment Modules and then Installed and configured them ...

Be sure that if using Sort Orders that you are using unique Sort Orders and not leaving any set to 0 ...

You say COD is showing but not the others ...

What happens if you try:
Check/Money Orders moneyorders
Credit Cards cc

Do those then show?

Yup - tried that - basically nothing is showing apart from cod even when this is removed it still shows as the only option.

Slowly working my way through the files.

Really, really stuck now.

Have went through the payment files and can't see any difference.

I have a duplicate copy of the (just brought down the one that is working and deleted all of the non working site and then loaded the working one back to the non working ones space) one is showing the different payment modules and one is not - they both use the same database.

So I have one site in 2 places - one of which is showing the payment options & 1 which isn't (and is defaulting to cod - even when this module is removed)

You said this is a "fresh install", but then you said that it's pointed to the same database as another site. So, does that mean the only thing "fresh" about it is the PHP files?

Also, you said that your payment modules are "not showing". What exactly do you mean by that? Admin or storefront? Are certain ones just not showing up in the list? Or is the list actually incomplete and the page isn't drawing fully due to a PHP error caused in one of your files?

The site was a fresh install - i.e not upgraded

the site sitting at the root of the server is the exact same site sitting within shop - only difference is the location.

I have chosen nochex, cod & paypal as payment options - these are showing on the site within the /shop/ folder

however on the duplicated site sitting at the root the only option showing is cod - even though I have uninstalled and turned this module off.

Just reinstalling the site again - as it must be a corrupted file or something similar.

I will try the debug option once the site has reloaded.

Could you check the two configure.php files ...
/includes/configure.php
/admin/includes/configure.php

ON THE SERVER, not on your computer ...

are you absolutely sure both are looking at the same paths, database, username and password?

Do NOT post your username and password here, if you post those files for us to review ...

Be sure that you look at those files ON THE SERVER and not the ones that you "think" are on the server ...

Checked all that as well. Finally sorted this by litterally reftping down everything in the working zen folder /shop/ and putting it back one folder at a time. There were a few corrupted files in the modules folders - good ol ipswitch ftp pro strikes again!!

If yours isn't working well, FileZilla tends to be quite reliable as an FTP program.

Its a brand new purchased copy - but I do wonder why I pay $30 a pop for it.... (I have histiry with ftp pro corrupting files while ftping... and still I use it)

Going to have a look at filezilla as it looks like a good option for when ftp pro spits the dummy!
