CRE Loaded to Zen Cart Data Importer [support thread]

This script is used to import CRE Loaded 6.2 data into Zen Cart.
It runs stand alone, meaning it is independent from Zen Cart's
fuctions and settings, so it's ok to run when you are not quite setup.

Hi,

First let me say, the script looks great, and I was wondering if it is possible to make some additions to your script. Here are the specs: The current specs stay the same, I would like to add the following scripts.

A: Products (ALL) Complete Profile - UPLOADED
B: Product (ALL) Sub & Main Ctoriges - UPLOADED
C: Customer Orders (ALL) - UPLOADED
D: Customers Pending Orders (ALL) - DOWNLOAD

I am going to need these files processed twice a day.

I have come up a WholeSale/DropShipper that you would love to have access to, it is not one of these sites you have to pay charge.

The site I will be presenting to you is very hard to believe, I contacted the BBB, and the Customers Site, and they assured me the information is correct, and boy they were right about the price about blowing my socks off. It has been 4 days now, and I still can not find that sock.

Hi there,

Fantasic mod and will save us a mountain of time.

We're having a tiny problem sadly and cant find what's causing the issue.

Using import_cre_products the categories and products transfer from cre to zen with no problems at all.
All the categories appear perfectly and all the products appear in 'All Products' and 'New Products' but sadly cant get the products to display under the categories.

In admin -> categories/products all the categories are there but all saying 0 of 0 active.

On admin main page it shows: products 201 - products deactivated 0.

Could anyone please point us in the right direction.

If you go to a product and toggle the status from Disabled to Enable and end with Enabled set. Then go back to Categories / Products what is x of x active?

If you browse the products table, do you have master_categories_id that is not 0 in each of the Product records?

If every product is under a category there should be 201 records in product_to_categories.

In the cre to zen script it reads products_to_categories and transfers the data to products_to_categories.

When the script ran did it show a record count export and the same record count on import?

argghhhh!!!

I found the problem. The cre site was loaded with a ep file and somehow caused a duplicate on the cre database in one of the products_options tables.

Everything works perfectly now.

Now that you think you have things correct ...

Be sure that you have proper matching records:
products
products_description

categories
categories_description

products_to_categories (at least 1 record per product, you will have more if you have Linked Products)

Check that you have master_categories_id in each product record ... if not, run the Update master_categories_id ... NOTE: if you use Linked Products, the lowest categories_id is used for the master_categories_id ...

Run the Update Products Price Sorter ... note: run this AFTER the master_categories_id exist to set the prices correctly ...

I am new to zencart, and so far I really like it a lot!! I am having one issue. I have a 6.2 CRE B2B store that I need to move all the products over to zencart. I have successfully imported all of the products with the cre_import_products application, but it did not import the attributes. My existing store has 15,000 attributes (clothing store), and none of them have transferred.

that is my ONLY hangup putting this store live. Does anyone have any insight? I am not using different price groups in CRE BTW.

Yup! That is exactly what I used to get the products imported... However, it did not import any of my attributes. Every single product I have has attributes assigned. I have around 2500 products.

It pulled ALL the information for the products (descriptions, prices, etc), except attributes - which I desperately need as it is a clothing store.

the script worked awesome, as it inserted all the products.... just missing the attributes. During the execution of the script, it did show all 15,000 attributes as imported, but it did not link them to the products.

Thanks again! It is a huge help and if this works, I am completely sold on ZenCart over CRE! That is the missing link!

The zip file attached is only import_cre_products.php there was a bug in the attribute section that has been fixed. This update will be in version 1.2 that will be available in the Free Software Add On section in a couple of days.

Remember BACKUP YOUR DATA BEFORE USE.

You guys are incredible! I will honestly say I am floored by the support and speed I have seen here so far. I have been using CRE for YEARS and MIVA before that... this is by for the best community I have seen and the quickest turn-around from a fairly complex question I have ever seen! Hi, I'm new to the forum.

I am importing from CRE Loaded 6.2 "Pro" to ZenCart. Everything looks good and I ran the products and customers import both with no problems.

My orders import is having problems, though, I must be doing something wrong. I have encryption enable, and I pasted my key into import_cre_orders.php as below (shown with a sample key).

But it does not say done. When I look at the target database, the orders tables are still empty. I have almost 7000 orders so I don't know if this could be causing the problem.

Anyway, thanks for making this import tool, I prefer to use ZenCart and if I can get this step figured out with your help I will be much happier with the new software. Thank you!
