if you cant do that, than
remove from the div : #navCatTabsWrapper (in stylesheet.css)
background: transparent url(../images/image_name.png) no-repeat scroll 0 0;
height: 42px;
and paste it in #navMainWrapper
it might work
The spy store has added a couple of custom ez-page links to the standard #navMainHeader code (and relocated navMain to below the logo).
If you try to combine navMain with the categories-tabs bar, you will find that once you login or have items in the shopping cart the bar gets quite crowded. This will become impossible to fit if you add any more categories.
i still cant get the IE to come up correctly, also how do i remove the categories from the nav?
You don't actually have them together in the code; you have the cat-tabs displayed on top of navMain. The margin-top is what you used to get that to happen.
the correct solution is to add this to the #navMainWrapper (in stylesheet.css)
background: transparent url(../images/image_name.png) no-repeat scroll 0 0;
height: 42px;
(must set height)
That is the correct solution, worked perfectly.
Actually, the correct solution to getting the categories "out of" the navbar is to turn them off in admin > Configuration > Layout Settings > Categories-Tabs.
There is no good done by hiding them under another element.
Thanks, that also works
Does anyone know how to place banners on the side with no header bar
