Blank page after selecting template

Again, thank you. I did that already. I reinstalled, uploaded a completely different template, and still had the same problem....blank screen. I'm not touching the files, just doing a simple FTP transfer.


How can everything look ok, I can select the template, I can preview it just fine, but it is blank when I try to bring it up?????

Sorry, just very frustrated! Any other suggestions?

Equally frustrated here, given that the problem seems to be isolated to your situation.

The only way I can replicate the problem even slightly is to stuff a bunch of files in wrong folders, thus causing PHP errors, which are then of course logged as described earlier, and then it's easy to review the logs and see exactly what's wrong and fix it ... often by relocating the files to the correct places they were intended to be in.

OK, I did a complete reinstall and I am STILL getting a blank page. I have not uploaded a template, just using Classic....it's blank.....what could possibly be the problem?

This sounds like a permissions issue, and I think you probably are going to need to contact your host.

Correct. If you've set files/folders to '777' permissions but your host's server configuration doesn't allow that, then it'll give a blank screen and throw a "500" error until you reduce those permissions to levels they're willing to accept.

I'm seeing an error from 'weebly' stating 'your site has to be published'. By what method is Zen Cart being installed?

Also, installing into a dir. called 'Zencart' is not a good idea, from a business point of view. If you want to install in a sub-dir (although I don't know why you would want to do that) then name it 'shop' or 'store' or something that looks / sounds more business like.
