Zen Lightbox addon [Support Thread]

Hi,

Hope someone can help me. Using Zen cart 1.3.9h, Zen Lightbox 1.6.2. I followed the instructions to the letter, first installed upgrade sql (upgraded from 1.5), then deleted files individually from back end, re-uploaded the new files, however when I try to view my product pics (www.shadow.craftwiseonline.co.uk), instead of opening the pictures with Lightbox, it opens the picture in a blank screen. I then tried the uninstall sql and again install sql, checked site in IE, Chrome and Firefox, same problem in all. I have been through a large part of this thread but could not see anything that could help.

In Admin Zen Light Box has been set to True, can you possibly help to fix this please?

Here's what I would try next:

Completely uninstall ZLB

• run the uninstall script
• delete all the ZLB files
• manually check your db for any instances of ZLB and remove them if found
• Remove or replace any old Flash by-pass code from your template files, if applicable

Then, do a new fresh install of ZLB 1.6.2

I must be missing something here. I'm on Step 5 of the install - upload the file and it's giving me a "table does not exist" error.

I look at the file, and sure enough - there is no code to create the table (configuration_group and configuration) that it's trying to insert into.

Did someone fudge something up with the latest upload? I have a clean install of ZC1.3.9h.

Thanks I have it working. Why does the database prefix needed to be added to the file? Why is it not standard if that's the way that ZenCart is installed?

For anyone wondering:

Fantastico installations seem to add this prefix, but that is not the standard with installation files download from this website.

from the dist-configure.php file:

I've been trudging along building a site for the last 3 days and being dumb I've just been going along loading the site in Chrome.
So today I go and test it with Firefox and no images are showing at all! Not even the thumbnails.
It's been doing fine in Chrome, working perfectly.
In Opera hit or miss depending on box.

Opera v11.52 - No Picts, but have frames
IE8 - Works
Chrome - Works

Chrome - Works
Firefox v3.6.17 - Nogo, nothing

I've searched for a half hour, going to go for a walk and clear out the gray matter... *SIGH*...

first off you will get better help with posting a link so we can see what you see and test things out.

secondly---should have been first--- this is most likely NOT a lightbox thing...especially since you said it has been working right in the one browser....but have you any other mods installed?

You may need to uninstall everything and go back to just the bare store...do them all one at a time ---then test in each browser before going to the next mod.

worst case is that it is not the mods but something in the actual browsers.

1. go to admin/configuration/zen lightbox and make sure it is turned on with the settings( IF I recall it is automatically done)

2. now go to the store, any product description page and click on the main image

it should open into the blacked ot window with the image dead center for viewing larger one.

that is it, if they don't open up into the "shut off the lights" type of window then it is not uploaded right...come back with link to your site for help

also before I forget again...READ the readme file included in the zip---the ENTIRE read me.
