    Has your site been upgraded? When? From what version(s)? No
    What addons have you installed? When? None
    In what ways is your site customized or different from a brand new uncustomized install? Its not

    So if there's nothing on your site that needs preserving, what's wrong with starting afresh with a brand new install that you can be confident is clean?

    Im new to ZC. Im afraid of losing my products and info on my site while updating.

    Forgive me for such a long post. I currently use v1.3.9h and I paid a company to install the following add-ons to my store and now "admin settings" is showing the same error as the first post. Could any of these add-ons cause that problem? :

    Did you do an upgrade to 1.5.0 at all?
    I say that because only the v1.5.0 upgrade would ever delete the admin_level field. Unless you're mucking around with addons which compromise the functionality of your store.

    Yes, it was upgraded and then we went back to the 1.3.9h because there were add-ons that I needed but don't yet work with 1.5. What would you suggest be done to fix the issue? Thanks in advance for your help, its much appreciated.

    You can't just "go back", without undoing the several hundred database changes that were done during the upgrade. You should have restored from backup, not just changed the PHP files.

    I suspect there are numerous other additional problems you've not seen yet that will come up and bite you in the arse if you continue using old software with the newer database. You really ought to push forward to your upgraded site ASAP.
