Zen Lightbox addon [Support Thread]

I just installed this and all it did was make images open in the browser instead of a popup.

I followed the instructions right. Please help!

I reuploaded all the files and it worked.

Then when you install a mod you won't have to yank your hair out trying to figure out what they did-- cause that is how they make their money...doing the "fixes" they know you will need to come back for.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me at all. I still just get regular browser pop-ups for my images. I have reinstalled a couple of times and I still can't get it to function. Not sure what I'm missing.

A link would be helpful and what template are you using. Did you install the SQL for it, does it show in the admin section?

I use the Dragon template. I did run the install sql script. And it does show up in admin.

well looking at your source code there is not the .css file showing.

When you uploaded it you took the files from the zips folder and put them in the exact same fodlers on your server, right?

Did you upload the admin folder files too?

When you click the lightbox link in admin do you get the options?

I think maybe your files went into a different spot than they are supposed to go or got corrupted on the way up.

Short answer is that you have NOT installed this incorrectly. Viewing your page source I can see that none of the template overwrites that are needed for this add-on to work are in place.. Please re-read the readme file.. Pay close attention to the handling of the files that are in the YOUR_TEMPLATE folders.. It doesn't look like you have any of these files in the proper locations.

Thanks guys, I'll dfouble check my install and try installing again just to make sure. I'll let you know if I get it working or not.

Ok, I figured it out. I had copied over all of the files to the correct folders but I forgot to rename the TEMPLATE folder. I copied the ZL stuff into my Dragon template folder and now it works. Thanks again for the help folks. I knew it was something easy that I was missing.

Hi there, I had lightbox working but sometime ago it must have stopped working. When you clicked to enlarge an image the white box appeared on my site and the screen darkened but no image or even the next/previous/exit buttons appeared. There was no way to exit out of this except to reload the homepage.

When I searched for the lightbox item in the admin>configuration file it wasn't there so I reinstalled the install.sql file which gave me the following error:

1146 Table 'tie0804301252841.configuration_group' doesn't exist
in:
[SELECT @cgi := configuration_group_id FROM configuration_group WHERE configuration_group_title = 'Zen Lightbox';]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

so I used the uninstall.sql file which ran successfully and the normal browser popup appears when the enlarge image option is selected.

Any ideas on what the error message means?

I'm using lightbox v1.5 because I'm running Zen Cart 1.3.8a Patch: 1:atabase Patch Level: 1.3.8 on PHP Version 5.2.17
