Possibilities for price request

Hi there Zen-Cart Community !

So it's my first time using Zen Cart but i'm getting familiar with it.
Nevertheless, I still got a few problems.

What I want is a Showroom, where no prices are displayed. I already found that option.
Unfortunately, the Showcase Mode will disable my Shopping cart and replace it with a Contact-Link.
But i want to add a "add to cart" option, where the customer can add his desired products to the cart. No paying, no shipping. I only want to receive an email with the customers product list and i will send back the prices and all relevant stuff.

I already found a Module called RFQ Shipping and Payment Module (http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=324), but i can't figure out, if its the right solution for my problem.
Moreover i can't manage the installtion process of the module. I'm not getting any wiser by reading the setup file.

Any help, please?

Setup a normal store and for your payment option choose check/money order as your payment option. Regarding display of prices, that can be managed as well to not show prices.
For shipping, you can choose to use the free shipping module.

ZC requires at least one payment and one shipping option each to be selected. It is possible to override that, but the options available make an override pretty much unnecessary...

I don't want any payment and shipping options.

I just want a simple showroom, where the customer can browse through the products and fill the shopping cart.
At the end he klicks a button called "send request" or so (NOT "buy" or "complete order") and i will (automatically) get an email with the desired products of the customer.
I will estimate the prices and manually send back an email to the customer with all relevant information for finishing the order.

I dont want any payment or shipping options!

So, working down the line of "concerns" at each presented screen the text can be modified to display what is desired, but a central aspect of ZC operation is that a payment option and a shipping option must be selected. Anything other than that requires unique coding for the store. Given one item each of those, and the guest would only need to fill in the information applicable such as what you would want when the "product" is complete: where to ship the item, etc... The other parts can be modified to suit as far as display, and this would all lead to a final "purchase" presenting whatever information you want displayed including both parties (them and you) receiving an emil with details of the request.

As for the call me functionality, I believe there is an add on to request information about a product via email. Would have to look at the plugin list.

So, while you continue to wait for others to respond with a solution to your problem(s), it would help to identify what version of ZC you have installed to get you past the install of RFQ Shipping and Payment Module (http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=324).
