Date-of-Birth in registration is not affected in Desktop or Mobile, I did uninstall the OPC completely ( even ran the SQL patch ) and tested the DOB in registration, it works in Desktop and Mobile, then I installed OPC from scratch again, the new customer registration has no issue with DOB in Desktop and Mobile, but for Guest Checkout that uses OPC when I go to Mobile it has the same behavior and does not work as I referred in my previous qoute.
However if I go to Admin -> Configuration -> Customer Detail and set the "Date of Birth" to false ( that means no DOB verification), then OPC works properly in Mobile as well.
Please help in this matter.
thank you.
I answered this in this post, Android is mine and I have co-worker with iOS, both showing same issue.

Please go to my OPC/Bootstrap-4 template demo (https://vinosdefrutastropicales.com/zc157_bs4), add a product to your cart and attempt a guest checkout.
I've added some debug-gathering to see the format in which the dob is being sent. Comment back here when you've done that and I'll grab that additional log so that I can 'see' what's going on.
I've gone to the test site (https://vinosdefrutastropicales.com/zc157_bs4) using my sister's iPhone, added an item to the cart, went to guest-checkout and the DOB (05/31/1970) was accepted.
I have no idea why your devices' entry is different, but if you'll do the same as above with the devices that are not accepting the date-of-birth that will help me 'see' what is going on.
Hi Cindy, I noticed a couple of strange occurrences with guest checkout I wanted your opinion on. ZC version 1.5.7c, OPC version 2.3.10
1st occurrence.
On the install process of this module, it creates a "Guest Customer, **do not remove**" entry in the admin>customers>customers. When I checked on this Guest Customer I noticed it has orders in it from various people placing orders in my store using the guest checkout, so I assumed all guest orders would be recorded on that guest customer. However today we got an order from someone using the guest checkout, but this guest customer somehow got registered on the database as a normal customers registering for an account would, with its unique ID and all instead of using the Guest Customer as its entry. I thought maybe I had this customer registered already, but no, the account registration was created today while placing the order using guest checkout. So now I'm confused on how the module records the customer when placing an order using the guest checkout, is it using the Guest Customer in the database for it, or is it registering a new customer every time and somehow it was functioning improperly before? Haven't changed anything since installing the new store and this module other than cosmetic changes back in January before opening the store to the public. Any ideas why this happened?
2nd occurrence.
The second occurrence is related to the one above. The customer that placed the order using guest checkout whose account registered as a regular customer, had to enter its gender (male/female) for the form to process. However on my end, when checking the customer the salutation field is blank. It didn't record its gender in the database. Could I have stumbled on a bug?
Thanks for the help.
It seems this link that you mentioned uses different template from classic. I checked on the mobile and it does not pop the DOB , it asks to enter the DOB by typing it , but in my case the DOB cannot be typed, instead the date can be chosen from pop up. I believe the templates are different. So I suggest you use Classic Template to see how it goes, if you are able to enter DOB then if it goes to next step!.
