Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Looking in the bmz_cache directory I can see that this image is not actually there so there is a problem creating it.

Delete the existing image and add it again in the IH menu and see if that helps?

Have you run out of webhosting space?

Tried that. Should have plenty of webhosting space unless there is some limit on number of files within one directory or something. Tried uploading direct from IH menu but would not go. Not sure what problem is but dont have much clue about the details so any other ideas would be appreciated.

Sorry - also forgot to mention that it still doesnt really explain why IH has suddenly stopped recognizing the images that are already there. Any ideas ??

Do you run your own server? If PHP error display is off, you could have one small php error and get a blank page.

Is the store in the root directory of /var/www/vhosts/mywebsite.com/httpdocs/?

The key appears to be in the first error message, "open_basedir restriction in effect."

For one reason or another, your store does not have permission to open that file and include it in the running script. I would check permissions and ownership on the directories, but the error message inlies that the file that your are trying to include is outside of the domain name or site root and is encoutering a php restriction on your system.

I am assuming that you installed the files in the same locations specified by the IH add-on, so if the store runs I don't know why this location would be a problem. That leads me back to the permissions and ownership of the directory, but that usually provides a different error.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. That might be a valid error to contact your ISP over. You might also turn off safe mode and research the security issues you need to pay attention to when safe mode if off.

When something suddenly stops working it is often due to a change (usually an upgrade) by the host.

Check with them to see if they've changed anything.

Unfortunaly my isp will not help me! It seems strange to me that Zen Cart works fine but when I install IH it comes up with this "open_basedir restriction in effect" error.

If there was a restriction in effect then zen cart would not have worked!

A strange thing happen: when I'm try to load a new image, the new image button has this link:

and Forbidden page show me.
The &products..... is wrong: in fact if I delete the & the link work, but in the second step error again

If the permissions or ownership of the files/directories is incorrect, that would be a problem. is the bmz_cache directory set to 777?

Is the ownership of the zencart files the same as that of the IH files?

I can't get the bloody water marks to work, i only use small images for the moment and i am using Internet Explorer.

Checking with the host now to enquire about changes - waiting to hear back. Checked the permissions on the bmz_cache and the images folders - both at 777.

Any other ideas?? I am getting desperate.
What happens if I clear the image cache - I am presuming that with ih2 not working properly, all my existing images that are displaying on the website might disappear on me which would be an even bigger problem.
