Unable to Upload Product Images

Dear all,

I have not encountered such problem before, but lately I cannot upload product images via the product admin page. The error log shows:

PHP Warning: Only -1 bytes were written, expected to write 5119 in Unknown on line 0

Does anyone know what is the problem? The images directory is writtable by the Apache processor owner.
