Lightbox Gallery (combined jgallery and zenlightbox)

I didn't end up getting it working. So I unfortunately can't help you out farther than what I have posted already. If I do get it working in the future I'll add more details here.

Just found a little gottcha. If your gallery directory lies within the /images directory the thumbnails wont work as a result of the .htaccess file in the root of /images. Just rename the htaccess file to something (I used old.htaccess) to fix the problem. I'm not worried about heavy security on my images, if you are then you will need to mod the .htaccess accordingly and keep it in place.

did you try to "edit" the image in the admin section of zen cart? do not do this. if you do, upload that image again.

also i would suggest to do all the editing outside of the admin page.

You need to instal Ultimate SEO URL's

Ultimate SEO URL's fixes a problem in the gallery pagination. The gallery will work fine with one page only but the links to further pages will not work without the mod. It's a good mod anyway so chuck it in and that problem will be solved.

You have another problem too, I'm thinking file permissions on your images. Go here: http://www.guardian-security-products.com/index.php?main_page=gallery&page=2 (note the ampersand & instead of question mark ? before page=2) this should be the correct URL for page 2 of your gallery but the images here are not able to be edited for thumbnail creation.

My client knows absolutely nothing about working with web files. How would he go about editing the captions if he can't use the "edit"?

Also...the first couple of pictures come up huge when you click on them even through their actual sizes are no wider than 500. After the first couple of images they come up the correct sizes.

Okay...looking further...the first one you click comes up huge..and then the rest are the right size. Doesn't matter which one you click first...it comes up huge.

AND now they all come up huge. Argh!

And I added the seo script...now page two doesn't come up at all. Click on page 2 and the link says it's page 2 but it's still on page 1.

I don't have it working fully yet but in order to add it to the menu in the admin tools, go to Admin Access Management -> Admin Page Registration. Use these values:

Page Key: Image Gallery Uploader
Page Name: BOX_GALLERYUPLOAD
Page Filename: FILENAME_GALLERYUPLOAD
Page Parameters:
Menu: Tools
Display on Menu?: Checked
Sort Order: Whatever you want, a high number like 50 would put it at the bottom of the tools list.

Im using 1.5.1 zen cart i have seo installed but disabled as it causes my urls not
to resolve

Im having the same issue with url output having the ? when corrected to a &
it works

I've tried to mod the index.php replacing the ? with a & and even removed it from the
following line of code

$pagenumbers = array("?page=1","?page=2","?page=3","?page=4","?page=5","?page=6","?page=7","?page=8","?page=9","?page=0");

But still outputs ?page=2

You need to mod all ?page= references to &page= in the index.php
