Hello
I re-uploaded the new files, and the admin page only has one line text "reCaptcha is not currently installed. [install Now]. so I clicked to install. and after that the page gone blank. So now, when I click mysite.com/zcadmin, the blank page appeared.
I am just wondering if this is something to do with the way I upload the files.
I upload all files manually, first I navigate to the files on the server, I change the original files name first (say add a "-" sign to the beginning of the file name) then upload the new file. Using the way, I put the two files under "admin" folder to my "zcadmin" folder (recaptcha_filenames.php and recaptcha_functions.php), also files includes/classes/recaptchalib.php, includes/modules/create_account.php, and all includes/modules/pages files. At the same time, I also added a directory "my custom template" inside modules directory and upload all files within "module" folder to this directory (create_account.php and the page directory).
I uploaded the languages/english/extra_definitions/recaptcha_definitions.php to my languages/my custom template/extra_definitions/ folder.
The template files are simple, I just uploaded them to "my custom template" folder.
I am still learning Zen Cart.
Thanks for your help.

CP,
What version of Zencart do you have installed?
New Zenner
I just posted a new update to try. This should also update to work with 1.5 also. The only file that changed is:
/admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/recaptcha_functions.php
You can just reupload that file.
https://bitbucket.org/pickupman/zencart-recaptcha/get/1.3.zip
Or copy just the file from:
https://bitbucket.org/pickupman/zencart-recaptcha/raw/f9bb8c900a9d/admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/recaptcha_functions.php

Hello Pickupman
Thanks for your reply.
My version is znecart 1.5
I replaced the file, and now the 404 file not found page appeared.
Any advise?
Thanks

A 404 error means you have a wrong url typed into your address bar. Do you have the correct address into your address bar?

BTW My admin directory is called "zcadmin" the default name for a new installation. And I use custom template called "red_passion".

Hello
I am wondering if anyone have the same problem. Is it because I am running Zen-cart 1.7 or I am using a custom template?
Can anyone help?

CP_River,
Fixed a line in my file that causing the problem. Seems 1.5 is loading some classes in different order than 1.3.9 causing the error.
You should be able to login now.

Hello pickupman
Thank you very much for your help. Do I need to reupload the files? It seems that I still not be able to visit the /zcadmin/ page.
Thanks

I was able to get to your login page, but didn't test since I didn't have a admin login. You should still be able to login now. The file should only run on the admin home/dashboard page.

Hello pickupman
Thats very strange. Because all I can see of my admin page is just a blank page. whatever computers (mac/PC) or browsers (firefox, chrome, ie, safari) I using. My admin located in mysite.com/shop/zcadmin/
If I view the page source I only get the code below:
<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2"> </table>Any ideas?
Thanks

I've logged in and have the module installed. You will find it in Admin->Configuration->reCAPTCHA Options

Try reuploading that file again. Download the current version here:
https://bitbucket.org/pickupman/zencart-recaptcha/raw/ce41a91dfcf9/includes/classes/recaptchalib.php
Save the contents of that file to the path showing the error in includes/classes/recaptchalib.php. The function is only showing once in the file so there must be some syntax error causing this.

Hello Pickupman
I reupload the file and the problem remind the same.
I have this problem when I am working on my search function. I imported some products from my old SQL by run the relevant tables individually (tables related to products) through. Everything seems ok, but when I did a "search" there was nothing came up. I am not sure if this is something to do with the way I imported the database. I followed the help on other thread to modify the header_php file in includes/modules/pages/advanced_search_result/header_php.php Asfter the modification of this file, the search still not working, so I just removed the modified header_php file and reinstate the old one (with reCaptcha). After that the black page appeared.
I have no idea why this happened.
Please help.

This seems to be common error that pops up if you may have previously used another captcha before. I wrapped the code in a function_exists() block. So if the function has already been declared it won't try again.
CP go ahead and enable the reCaptcha for the Contact page, and it should work for you now.

Sorry for not completely understand but I turned "contact us form" in Configuration/ReCaptcha Options/ from true to false the turned it back to true. So to the "Enable Create Account Form". However it still doesn't work. When I input any word in a search box, I still get a blank page. However the error log is different now:
[31-Mar-2012 12:46:30] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare _recaptcha_http_post() (previously declared in ../includes/classes/recaptchalib.php:68) in ../includes/classes/recaptchalib.php on line 93
What else can I do?
