Fresh Zen -- JellyFish Template Support Thread

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a new zen template, hope to bring you a totally fresh breeze ~~ ^##########___^ .

I just finished the graphic design, still working on turning it into template, but I can't wait to share it with you :P

Please give me some encouragement then I can finish it soonnnnnnn :D

Nice looking template (I downloaded from the free templates area on this site). I'm sure that it will be a popular choice. Though I would recommend tidying up the validation errors and hopefully that will also sort out the problem with the details button in Internet Explorer.

Hi Kuroi, thank you so much for your comments :) You are right, this new baby still need a lot cares :P Thank you for your kindness suggestions, I've already fixed those errors.

All Freinds who already download zenfish template, please go to update it :) In this updates I fixed some xhtml validation errors, now it passed validation by xhtml and css.

Hello, how are you guys?
This is a beautiful template, and it will go with the theme of my buisness. Although I am having one problem.
- Everything is working right, but none of the images are showing up. No background images, no content images. Nothing. The only images that show up are the little fish on the left nav bar. I really have no idea what the problem is. I am very new to Zencart, i was originally from Magento. So, yes... I am a newbie. So if you can, please help! Thanks- John

Do you mean products images on our demo site? You have to add your own products then it will show up :-) They are in your database.

---"No background images, no content images" --
Again, I think you have to add some products firstly.

And If it's ok please give me your website link then maybe I will know how to help you :-)

Magento is another powerful shopping cart, but I have to say it confused people sometime when you play arround.

No, I don't menat product images, i mean the template images such as the body background, header, , etc...
Everything in the
"templates/
tvzen_jellyfish/
images ...." Folder does not show up.
My site is not yet live.

This is not a normal problem and is of the sort of problem that is very difficult to diagnose without seeing the site, but often yields an immediate answer when we do see it. Can you install the site somewhere temporarily where we can see it and hopefully help you?

Hi Citrustech,

It's really strange, I found when I check some background graphics on your website, they don't show, for example :

http://oconnellgallery.com/zencart/includes/templates/tvzen_jellyfish/images/bg_cate.jpg

Please firstly make sure your images folder is readable, normally this shouldn't happen, but hard to say, I've never had this kind problems.

Please login your ftp and check it out that if all the images in "includes/templates/tvzen_jellyfish/images/" are uploaded, if they are there, please change this floder's permission to 755 or 777, then see if it'll be solved.

Okay, i found out the problem. Filezilla was corrupting the images upon upload for some reason. I went ino the godaddys servers VIA the web, and uploaded them that way. That seemed to work,, and now everything is working great. This is a beautiful template, looks awesome. Thanks again Kuroi and Magicbox.

How do I links to show in the bg_menu.jpg bit?? like on the demo..

First of all 10+ for this template i totally love it.

On my sideboxes only the catagorie menu has a blue background and i was wondering how can get a background at the other to sideboxes as seen bellow on this image.

I found 2 bugs in your template so far (hope you would fix them)

1. the title for currencies is not bold like categories, new products, manufacturers
2. if I click on the privacy page, the new products title becomes underlined

You need to do some css playing if you want to do it.
