On the Apparel_Boutique template, would I need to have Flash to operate it? The site I'm building for my wife is at http://www.innocentlingerie.com do you think that the Apparel_Boutique would work with it? If I use it, I do plan to donate, as I'm in no way a "something for nothing" kind of guy.

The Apparel Boutique is perfect for any type of online store--especially anything related to fashion :smile:

There is no flash used in the template. The slideshow is javascript and can be easily omitted from the home page.

Hi - I am new to ALL of this LOL.

I am using your 'A Pink Boutique' template and loving it.
Thank you for it.
I am beginning to find my way around a bit, but have one problem.
My main image on the home page won't show up.
I have reinstalled 3 times now.
The image is there at first then disappears leaving a red 'X' in the corner.
I have the newest version of your template - have place the wording correctly. Am now at a loss as to how to rectify this.
I did see one poster had the same problem, (but can't find that post now), although they did then put that they had sorted it - although didn't say how LOL.

That's great! You site looks good. The only recommendation that I have is that you optimize your product images. Right now the large image is being used to product the thumbs for sideboxes, etc. See this:

I update my main page banners regularly to reflect new stock, but was wondering if I could use the script currently on Alysa on my pink boutique site and have scrolling image/links instead of static images? I would like to retain the border if I can...

This is no problem. You will need to copy the define main page slider content and the javascript files over.

If we install the new updated version, will we have to start from scratch? I have made a few changes to how the website is displayed (changed some sidebars etc).

As for the actual installation, we simply drop the new version over our existing template and let it overwrite it?

If you just install the new version you will overwrite any changes that you have made. I would recommend merging any template files that you have changed using beyond compare or winmerge.

You can edit the define_main_page.php file. Be sure that you have "plain-text" selected under the "Text Editor" drop down menu when you do the edit.
