A Pink Boutique Support Thread

candymad:

Just installed zencart and using: v1.3.9d and installed your lovely template. It shows correctly in google chrome but the top pink and brown strip does not show in firefox.

URL: http://mountaingoatdesigns.com/store/

I've looked at others using this template and the top brown and pink strip shows in google chrome and in firefox, it's only mine that doesn't show in firefox, any help would be appreciated.

I am sorry. I took a look at your site but can not find the problem with so little info. I have never heard of anyone else having this problem. If this happened to me, I would start over and re-install.

Did you look at my site in firefox and was it ok on your computer, could this be a problem with just my computer?

I have added lots of products, will reinstalling the template loose all these and the settings etc?

Sorry about all the questions, but I'm very new to Zen cart.

I thought I would have a go at re-installing as you suggested, I thought I had nothing to loose. I followed your initial instruction for installation, but the top pink and brown banner is still not showing in Firefox, HELP!!!!!!

Don't know what to do next

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

Is there any reason why the template wont show images on the main page? Just html code? Using the newest Zencart.

Its not my store btw

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

Hrm, I noticed that when I edit the define_main_page.php
REPLACE freehome.jpg WITH THE NAME OF YOUR IMAGE*****************--><img class="home-image" src="includes/templates/a_pink_boutique/images/storefront.JPG"

and save it, the picture loads up fine. When I use the define pages editor, edit some text and hit save, it makes the url change to

REPLACE freehome.jpg WITH THE NAME OF YOUR IMAGE*****************--><img class="home-image" src="http://domain.com/storenew/Admin/includes/templates/a_pink_boutique/images/storefront.JPG"

Noticed how it puts in the full url. Anyone ever see this happen? I am running 1.3.8g (was happening on version F. I upgraded to G to see if it fixed it)

Also want to note, when I click on any of the buttons below the pictures after editing it in the define pages editor, it does the same thing to the link and adds http://domain.com/storenew/Admin/includes. Going nuts trying to find out why.

There is no problem with the template. This is happening because you have the text editor drop down set to htmlarea instead of plain text.

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

Hi, please can someone help.

I have tried everything and was about to give up, but thought i'd ask here as I know you are all so helpful.

I am trying to move the model no so it sits on the left in line with the rest of the text and would also like to remove the bullet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: A Pink Boutique Support Thread

Anne,
Awesome template.
I am setting up my wife's bow site and am having a couple of issues.

First, any time I edit the text either through define page editor or by hand it shows the source code on the page instead of the regular text. Even if I just change a letter in the default template text it does it. It happens whether I am using the html or the text editor in the define pages section. it happens on all the pages you can edit, main page, contact page, etc. Any ideas?

Here is the link to an example on the contact page.

http://emmaandmeboutique.com/index.php?main_page=contact_us

Also, how can I put a little space in the sidebar boxes so that they are not butting up against the edges. I figure this is is a css edit but I don't want to go digging around if I can get an exact answer.

Thanks for your time.

I just answered this exact problem on page 15 of the thread.

Put a margin on the sideBoxContent div.
