Yep that happens to me in Firefox 4, i am guessing that firefoxs behaviour can be altered, as it automatically saves to your default download directory, i don't use ff so you'll have to do some digging.
Same thing seems to happen on various other sites too, must be a FF setting

Ok, the problem is a FF setting, you must have set it the same as me
Options --> General --> Always ask me where to save files.

Options --> General --> Always ask me where to save files is ticked.
I'm going to do some upgrading and see if that makes a difference.
Thanks for looking into this.

This is totally a Firefox thing and not this module.. You have to set your downloads settings in Firefox to control how it handles downloads..

When I went to save the zip file for a set of buttons, the program automatically saved the file without asking me where to save or under what filename, which meant that I then had to go find the zip file on my system. Having found buttons.zip, I then had to rename it to something meaningful. Subsequent button sets generated for comparison purposes also had to be renamed accordingly.
It would have been nice if the program asked the user where to save and under what filename. Would this be possible in a future upgrade, or is my installation at fault.
Other than this minor gripe, this is a fabulous mod and many thanks to everyone that contributed.

Ok the latest version has been out for a while now.
Just a note, if you are creating your own buttons with non european languages say "Simplified Chinese", you will need to add a ttf font that supports that language to the
/includes/font folder
The droidsansfallback.ttf font supports most languages but is way to big for use to include in this contribution

is there a place to download more buttons to add to this or photoshop size definitions?
Totally Zenned
Its fairly easy to make more your own buttons
have a read of the
readme/zen_bck_install.html
or see it online here
http://grumpykiwi.com/zen_buttons/zen_bck/readme/zen_bck_install.html
and then just look in the includes/templates/
folder of the contribution.
to see how its done

This is weird. And I don't know where else to post this. I have generated my new buttons - LOVE your contribution - it potentially can save many hours.
however - I'm trying to upload them - FileZilla says they upload just fine, but only SOME of them are showing up in the cart. Some are the buttons that were supplied with zc and/or my template.
I've tried it with 3 browsers.
I've loaded the buttons into photoshop, and resaved them back to .gif format.
I've blown away all the existing buttons, and replaced them with my new ones.
Same result.
Some are showing up, MOST are not.
any tips, hints, or other ideas?

Sounds like an issue with your FTP software corrupting your uploads..

I have got more info now - I have overwritten the files several times. I deleted the template_default directory button images, and replaced them with the custom ones.
The problem seems to be that the buttons are displayed from several points in the cart - and I haven't been able to figure out the rest of them. For example includes/languages/english/my_template/button_names.php
New Zenner
I'm not able to get the .png buttons with a transparent background to display. I can get the .gif buttons to work although there are a few buttons like the 'Buy now' that displays an enlarged version of the default button. One thing I'm wondering is - do I need to put the button definition files somewhere; - steps 9. and 10. are not clear to me as to what I should do with them.
Copy the resulting language button folders from the folder 'zen_bck/buttons/' to 'includes/templates/[YOUR_TEMPLATE]/buttons/' inside your shop's catalog folder.
The calalog button definitions are contained in the file /zen_bck/includes/zen_bck_config_cat.php. http://www.zen-cart.com/images/smilies/unsure.gif
The admin button definitions are contained in the file /zen_bck/includes/zen_bck_config_admin.php.
The other thing I'm wondering is - do I put the admin folder in my includes/templates/[YOUR_TEMPLATE]/buttons/' folder.
along with the catalog folder? The way I have it now is I've uploaded the contents of the catalog .gif button folder directly into my template/english/button folder because there already was a set there and I simply replaced them with the new set. Do I need to keep them in the catalog folder?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Tom R.

Ok this is from memory so it could be a bit out
If you want to display png buttons in your store you need to edit your
includes/languages/english/my_template/button_names.php
(if you don't have the above file, copy the on fom here
/includes/languages/english/button_names.php
)
and change the default button names fom gif to png
as for the admin buttons they go in your
your-admin\includes\languages\english\images\buttons
folder
For admin it is best to use gifs as the image names are hardcoded throughout the admin

Hi,
This is a very nice tool, however, I am working with rtl languages, in specific with Hebrew. I want to translate the Admin buttons to hebrew. I would like to add a Hebrew translation to this - however, in my first attempt, the text on the buttons is in the opposite (ltr) direction.
I think that it should be enough to place into the head "he" to set this correctly... can you please advise?
A.
Totally Zenned
The text should be echoed exactly the same as it goes in within the definition file, are you using actual hebrew characters or html entities?

Hi.. apologies for the late response on my part... I am using hebrew characters... can you please be more specific as to html entities in this context?
Thanks

But WINDOWS 10 says the zip file is invalid and will not let me open the zip file or extract the downloaded zip file.

Given since it's been 2 years since this support thread has had any activity, I'd say this is probably dead.. I personally no longer use image buttons as CSS buttons offer more flexibility and gives you options to create buttons that look as good if not BETTER than the buttons generated by this mod.. Plus for mods which may have buttons of their own I do not have to "scramble" to"make" matching buttons.. lat9's CSS button contrib improves the built in CSS buttons functionality..
