Mailbeez After Sales Modules

Done. It now creates a new tab of my home page. No errors, 404 messages or anything like that. Just the home page.

make sure the "mailhive.php" file is located in your store root - try to access it directly with http://<yourstore>/mailhive.php.

In case the file is there review your URL rewrite rules and eventually exclude "mailhive.php" from being rewritten.

mailbeez:

Hello again. The file is located in that area (public_html). If I try to access it directly (http:/yoursite/mailhive.php) it just brings up the home page. I tried an invalid URL and got a 404 so it definitely is there but not displaying correctly.

mailbeez:

In case the file is there review your URL rewrite rules and eventually exclude "mailhive.php" from being rewritten.

We are using Ultimate SEO 2.212. In that mod you specifically tell it which files to allow rewrites to. mailhive.php is not listed in there but other Zen files are (index, contact_us, product_info, etc). I don't see a way to specifically exclude a file.

I tried accessing it in the rewritten format (mailhive.html) but that generated a 404. I even tried adding it to the included list but it brought up the home page with the php extension and a 404 with html.

Based on all of this testing I don't think the file is being rewritten but I could be wrong.

Thanks!

Re: Mailbeez After Sales Modules

Hi everyone!

I am using zen cart 1.39h and Mailbeez v2.2 and was able to send myself a test of the 'review reminder' module successfully but would like to edit the text of the body. Instead of saying "we would very much appreciate to hear if you are happy with your products.

Please review your purchased products:"

I would like to change this to this...."So, by now your order items have been shipped to you, and you've had some time to try them out. How have you liked them so far? Good quality? Are you happy with your purchase?
We'd certainly love to hear about it and so would a bunch of other customers who may be considering the same products. If you wouldn't mind taking a minute to write a review about the products you've purchased, we'd sure appreciate it."

how can I have this displayed instead of the default contents in {$body} ?

Thank you kindly for your help.

Re: Mailbeez After Sales Modules

I cannot get Mailbeez After Sales Modules to show up on my admin page for Zen Cart installation. Does anybody have an idea how I can get it to show up? I can get it to show up in my browser if I type in the address.

Re: Mailbeez After Sales Modules

hi jeff,

looks like the menu integration is not showing up the menu item. Did you copy all admin includes into your zencart system?

Are you having any add ons, which control admin access to menu items?

Re: Mailbeez After Sales Modules

Bugfix for MailBeez 2.8

As with MailBeez 2.8 there is a bug causing issues with the clicktracker:

please replace in
mailhive/common/classes/clicktracker.php round line 86:

$rewritten = str_replace('/?', '/&', $rewritten);

with

$rewritten = str_replace('/&', '/?', $rewritten);

if you already have sent out emails, you can "repair" the links with following rewrite rule (.htaccess)

RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} /&mid=* [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.)&mid=(.*) /$1 [L,NC,R=301]

I have installed mailbeez by following the file structure in the zip file, and I still cannot get it to show up in my stores admin section. Is there with any way that I can get rid instructions on where the files go? I have looked on the mailbeez.com and instructions are confusing.

As far as I know, I am not using any add ons which control admin access to menu items.

looks like the sending process never finished and the table mailbeez_process is filling up. please empty table "mailbeez_process" and run the cronjob url manually in your browser to see where it fails.

often issues are caused by (meaningless) huge timeframes in the modules together with a small server memory limit.

basically you only need to copy the files from the zip archive into your zencart root:

/<zencart-root>/mailhive/
/<zencart-root>/mailhive.php
/<zencart-root>/<zencart-admin>/mailbeez.php

and the plugins from
extras_zencart/zencart_1.5.0/admin

into their proper location (replace admin with your own zencart-admin directory name)

After loading the files correctly, is there anything else that need be done to install the module?

Re: Mailbeez After Sales Modules

hi jeffrey,

the plugin structure of zencart actually allows to hook in just by placing new files. So once everything is copied into the right location you should find a new menue item "Tools > MailBeez". The first time clicking on it you should see the installation screen of MailBeez with an install button.

very import is you need to make sure you place the files into your custom-named admin directory (so if you copy the mailbeez files and see and "/admin" directory you did it wrong)

if you are not able to install yourself, please contact me through

helpdesk at mailbeez dot com
